(3rd) POV:
After leaving her grotto, Ariel finds a place to be alone, letting her tears fall, unaware of Flotsam and Jetsam's presence.
"My, my, the poor child suffers such deep sorrow," Jetsam says (I'm not sure which eel is who, so please try to go with it).
"What a pity. If only there were something we could do..." says Flotsam, catching Ariel's attention.
"Wait. Maybe she can be of some help," Jetsam suggests.
"Yes. Maybe she can be of some help to you," says Flotsam.
"Who're you talking about?" Ariel asks.
"Oh, she would surely help you," says Jetsam.
"She'd make all your dreams come true," says Flotsam.
The two eels joined together, creating a mist of ink. "Ursula can help..." both eels say.
In place of the mist of ink, the said sea witch appears. "You called, my dear?" Ursula asks.
"You're Ursula? I was just wondering if--" Ariel tries to say.
"It's all right. Helping others is what I live for," Ursula says. "Let me guess. You wish to see other worlds. That shouldn't be too hard. After all, your new friends came from another world."
"What?" Ariel asks, shocked by this.
"But they had special help--those mysterious keys," Ursula says.
Ariel then recalls the memory of Harmony and Sora's weapons. True, they looked like oddly shaped keys. But Ariel never expected them to be special. She becomes saddened at the thought of not having a weapon like theirs to help her travel through worlds.
"Now, now. Cheer up, sweetie. You have something special, too," Ursula encourages. "Now listen carefully. I think the Keyhole they seek is somewhere in the palace. Now, my dear, if you can take me there without your daddy knowing...I can help you get to those other worlds you long for"
(Harmony's) POV:
"You sure we should head back to Atlantica? What if King Triton yells at us again?" Madison asks, as we swim back to the city.
"Even if he thinks we shouldn't be here, we still need to look for that Keyhole, so that the Heartless don't plunge this world into darkness. Besides, I at least want to check up on Ariel, to make sure that she's okay," I say.
"Yeah. She seemed pretty down after what her father did," Luke says.
"You would, too, if father did something similar to you," Asch points out.
It's then that I realize something. Asch has never once spoken about his parents before, at least not in so many details. I know it's none of my business, considering the past he's had before meeting me, but I can't help but want to know more about him, especially since I don't know anything about my own parents. I'm immediately drawn out of my thoughts when more Heartless show up.
We take out the Heartless, but something feels off about this. There seem to be an increase in number. And the farther we head to the castle, the more the Heartless keep appearing.
"I don't understand. Just what is going on here?" I ask.
"I thought King Triton said he wouldn't allow the Heartless to enter his palace as long as he had his trident," Donald points.
