(Harmony's) POV:
No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't bring myself to fall asleep. I know that my friends and I have a big day tomorrow, but there are so many things on my mind. Giving up on trying to sleep, I get out of bed, and decide to go out for some fresh air, while making sure to not wake up Madison and Chibi, since we're sharing a room. After putting on my shoes, I leave the room, not even bothering to put on my jacket.
Eventually, I find myself outside, taking in the fresh air. I also gaze at the stars, noticing how there seem to be less stars than the last time I looked up at the sky, which means more worlds must've been plunged into darkness, making me feel sad for the people who lived in those worlds. I really do hope we can figure out a way to fix things, but at the same time, I'm worried. If anything, I just can't shake this feeling that something bad might happen.
"Couldn't sleep?" I hear a familiar voice say, catching me by surprise.
I look to see that it's none other than Asch.
"No. Just have a lot of things on my mind," I say, deciding to be honest.
Asch looks at me for a moment before speaking. "You're worried about everyone going their separate ways one day, aren't you?"
"......Is it that obvious...?" I ask, surprised that Asch was able to find out.
"You acted more chipper today that usual. You're practically an easy book to read for children," he says.
Not sure what else to do, I decide to come clean. "I'm glad that you're still going to keep traveling with us, but...If you find Van, what'll happen afterwards? Will you keep traveling with us, or will you decided to leave? I know it's selfish to want you to stay, but I can't expect you to do anything, not after hearing about your past. And I know you never liked any of us, but..." before I can finish, I feel Asch whack me on the head. "Ow! What was that for?"
"You really are an idiot, you know that?" Asch asks, while I rub the bump on my head, making me confused by what he means. "There's no telling if Van survived or not when the Heartless came and destroyed my home world. And even if he did make it, that doesn't mean I'm going to be able to find him in a day or two. There are still a lot of worlds out there; worlds that we haven't seen yet. So, quit acting like this is goodbye already. To be honest, it's driving me nuts. And not in a good way, either."
"Are you saying...that you'll stay?" I ask, surprised.
"I'm saying that I'm willing to put up with everyone, while we're on this journey. After all, I did promise that I'd cooperate with everyone, remember? Besides, wasn't it you who said that since you found me back on the islands, you'd take responsibility for me?"
Hearing that, my face flushes with embarrassment at the memory. "You know exactly what I meant when I said that! And last time I checked, you said so yourself that you're older than me and that I'm not your mother!" I exclaim.
Instead of a comeback, Asch simply smirks. I'm not sure why, but I feel like Asch has become...different somehow. Asch is not a bad person, but at times, he is impossible! Oh well. At least I can calm down about him traveling with me and the others now.
(3rd) POV:
Little do Harmony and Asch know is that Maleficent's daughter, the same one who is clad in red-black armor, watches them from a nearby building, while also being careful to not get caught. She lets out an evil chuckle, opening a door to darkness. After going through it, she reappears in a room.
