Chapter 31: Maleficent's Defeat part 2/Harmony's Choice

(3rd) POV:

Maleficent clutches her chest, using her staff to try and keep her balance. Never before had she ever thought that Madison would turn on her, let alone be this powerful enough to reduce Maleficent to this state. Then Riku appears from a portal of darkness.

"Do you need some help?" Riku asks, his voice still sounding disoriented.

"Riku!" a voice exclaims.

(Harmony's) POV:

After following Maleficent through the portal she used, we see her and Riku.

"Riku!" I exclaim.

Riku turns around, holding a Keyblade. But how can that be? I don't understand. Not only that, but there's something different about it. Unlike mine and Sora's Keyblades, it has an ominous feeling about it.

"Is that--" Donald tries to say.

"Yes. A Keyblade. But unlike yours, this Keyblade holds the power to unlock people's hearts. Allow me to demonstrate..." Riku says, his voice sounding different from usual. "Behold!"

Then all of a sudden, Riku pierces his Keyblade into Maleficent's chest, which catches us all by surprise.

"Wha--" Maleficent says, shocked.

"What're you doing to her?!" Madison questions, shocked.

"Now, open your heart, surrender it to the darkness! Become darkness itself!" Riku exclaims, as darkness surrounds Maleficent's chest.

The moment Riku removes his Keyblade from Maleficent, he retreats into a portal of darkness.

"This is it! This power!" Maleficent exclaims, with an insane look in her eyes, as a green aura surrounds her. "Darkness...The true darkness!"

Green and black flames surround her. The flames rise into the air as Maleficent changes form. Her body grows larger, and changes, ending up in the form of a black dragon. Maleficent raises her front, and then slams her claws on the ground, knocking us off balance. We all get back on our feet, just in time to avoid Maleficent breathing out her flames at us.

"Sora, Donald, ice magic!" I exclaim.

Sora and Donald nod their heads in understanding. The three of us use our ice magic to take out the flames, and hit Maleficent in the face.

"Beast, charge at her from the side," I say.

"Right!" Beast exclaims.

He does as told and rams against Maleficent's body, making her let out a painful roar. Maleficent tries to fling her tail at us, but we somehow manage to dodge it.

"Asch, Luke! Get on her back and slash at her wings to distract her!" I instruct. "Beast, give them a lift."

They do as instructed, and attack Maleficent on her back. Maleficent tries to shake them off.

"Goofy, Chibi, aim for her head," I say.

"Right!" Goofy exclaims, giving me a solute, while Chibi lets out a confident bark.

While Goofy throws his shield, Chibi throws his flaming disc at Maleficent's head, distracting her from Asch and Luke.

"Hey, Maleficent! You still need me, right? Well, I for one am not backing down without a fight!" I exclaim, gaining her attention. While Maleficent walks towards me, her claws shaking the ground with each stop, I try to pay close attention, till I see an opening. "Now, everyone!"
