Chapter 14: Opposite Armor/ Winnie the Pooh

(Harmony's) POV:

After walking around a little, Asch and I meet back up with Sora and the others. Chibi lets out a cheerful bark, glad to be reunited with everyone.

"Harmony. Asch," Sora says, looking happy to see us.

"Glad to see you guys. But I gotta admit, I'm kinda surprised," Madison admits.

"What? Didn't want me around?" Asch asks, sounding slightly angered.

"Can you blame me? After what happened earlier, I thought you'd be fed up with traveling with us, especially after everything we've heard from Luke and the others," Madison explains. "But since you came back, I guess that means that Harmony was able to convince you to stick around."

"Does this mean you'll keep traveling with us to more worlds?" Luke asks.

"...Don't get the wrong idea. I'm only sticking around until I find Van," Asch points.

"Still, it's great to know that you're coming with us," Goofy says.

Hearing their conversation, I can't help but feel conflicted. I mean, sure, Asch is sticking around. But who's to say how long that will last till he accomplishes his goal in finding Van? And if he does, what then? Will he no longer continue to travel with us afterwards? Not only that, but Luke has found his friends, so there might be a chance that he wants to stop traveling with us as well.

As I think about it, it's not just them. There are so many people I've made friends with since going on this journey. I know it's a selfish thought, but thinking about how I might one day have to say goodbye to everyone makes me unsure if I'm actually prepared for that or not. Not wanting to think about it, I decide to change the subject.

"Hey, where's everyone else?" I ask, noticing that Tear and the others aren't around.

"When you went with Chibi to go get Asch, they all decided to meet back up with Leon. Apparently, after we left from the last time we were here, they ended up in Traverse Town. And it's thanks to Leon that they've been doing alright here," Luke explains.

"I see," I say, hoping that they'll be okay.

"So, now that we're back together, where to now?" Sora asks.

"We have to go to the 2nd District to check on the bell at the gizmo shop, remember?" Donald reminds us.

"Okay, then. Let's go. I'm curious about that legend Yuffie mentioned to us," I say with a smile, earning a bark of agreement from Chibi.

Once we make it to the 2nd District, we head through the gizmo shop, while fighting Heartless along the way. We also climb up a ladder, and just as Aerith had said, the bell is all boarded up.

"Great. Any ideas on how to get this thing to open?" Madison asks.

We start to wrack our brains around on what to do, till Sora starts to whisper something to Donald and Goofy. Whatever it was he said, Donald is not pleased with what Sora had told them. Then Goofy says something, making Donald give in. Asch, Luke, Madison and I share a look of confusion, curious on what it is they're talking about. Even Chibi tilts his a little, just as confused. Our unsaid question, however, is soon answered when Donald slams himself against the wooden boards, followed by Sora and Goofy, smashing through the boarded up gate.
