(MATTIA'S POV)

NOW....

Kairi has been acting really weird lately. His mind had been somewhere else all day. Something is obviously bothering him but he won't say, I'm gonna ask him about it.

I walked up to Kairi as he was talking to a group of people around his height, looked like people he'd made shorty friends with. "Hey, umm.. do you guys mind if I have Kairi for a second?" I interrupted.

They all looked up at me suddenly with eyes of admiration. Kairi looked up at me with a questionable look. "Yea... s-sure, go a-ahead." One of them stuttered out seeming nervous.

"Thanks." I respond with. They walk away while Kairi stays looking at me confused. "What did you need, Mattia?" He asked me. "Are you ok? You've been off all day." I say to him, getting a face of worry from him in response. "N-no, I'm fine." He explains. "You don't seem to sure about it." I respond with. "Uh, well, I have something going on but, i'll tell you and the others later." He says shyly. "Oh, ok. Well, don't get too caught up with it, whatever it is. You can always tell us things in your own time." I say. "Thank you." He says looking up to me sheepishly.

I ruffled his hair to get the cute expression from him that I always love to see. He walks off to one of his classes. I walk to my class as well, wanting the day to be over.

I still want to know what's up with him...

(KAIRI'S POV)

I could feel my stomach turning as I walked away from Mattia. I was so nervous. Should I really tell them I'm an omega? I feel like they should know though. It's technically one big lie if I don't. What if they hate me? What if-ahh what am I thinking, their my friends. T-they they won't hate me for one little thing right?

I felt so bad today. Thinking about telling them I'm an omega going over and over in my head, I can't think of a good outcome even when I know they'll still be my friends.

I sat down wanting to be out of this hell hole.

I guess I'll just come clean when we're all at Alejandro's together in a couple days.

I'll be able to stop taking sent blockers maybe?

No, there is too many dirty alphas that would prey on me the second they smelled me.

Guess I'd be fine around the boys though.

THE NEXT MORNING....

I was at Mattia's house hanging around. I sat in Mattia's lap as he scrolled though Tik Tok.

Music played in the background of the room. It felt nice.

Mattia turned off his phone and set it aside, wrapping his arms around my waist and leaning his head against my back. Such a nice feeling to be engulfed in his arms. "I'm hungryyy" Mattia says into my shoulder, changing his position of his head to rest on my shoulder. "Then go get something to eat." I respond with. "But, I'm too comffyyy." Mattia whines.

I tried to get up but he held onto me.

"C'mon Mattia, let go. We can go to the kitchen and eat if you do." I say even though I really don't want him to let go. "Fiine." He huffs out. He lets go, I suddenly feel cold.

I get up slowly for him to follow my movements. We walk to the kitchen and find some cereal to eat.

(MATTIA'S POV)

Something about Kairi today is just so relaxing. I just wanna cuddle up to him all day. It's weird but, I don't mind. I realize I'm staring at him so I stop to focus on eating my cereal. We stop eating so we go back upstairs to my room. He flops on my bed so I do the same. "You gonna stay the night?" I ask. "I don't know but, I could ask." "Mk" I respond with. Kairi grabs his phone and begins typing, texting his mom.

A face of frustration appears on his face. "She said no, she says I gotta do chores or something." Kairi says with a tone of dissatisfaction. I grab him to bring him back on the bed with me. "Ugh, just stay for a bit more though and then leave." I say. "Aight, bet." Kairi responds with.

We chill for a bit more and then Kairi slowly gets up causing me to groan. "I gotta go now Mattia." He says. "Alright." I say back. He gathers his things and leaves.
