Bai Qian wasn't sure when she became aware of the woman in blue, but it was definitely before she left the Grove, so for a time she merely hovered in the air just inside the barrier in order to observe Mo Yuan and then the Goddess who was also observing him.  It was obvious by the anger pouring off the woman, that she was an admirer of his, only Bai Qian didn't understand why she remained hidden.  

She was exceptionally beautiful, dressed in a matching blue dress as Mo Yuan and obviously a woman of standing going by the ornate hair piece she was wearing, so it seemed strange that she would remain hidden unless she was just one more of Mo Yuans admirers that he had ruthlessly rejected,  but didn't get the message.

Watching as Mo Yuans laughter left with him, she then watched quietly behind her barrier as the woman turned east in the direction she had planned to take before catching sight of the blue dress in the distance and very slowly she began to follow.  She had actually felt her essence well before that though, because the angrier she got, the weaker her barrier became.

Though, that Mo Yuan had not noticed the woman was quite the mystery, or had he? she wondered.  She had to be very powerful to remain hidden for that long especially from a man whos power outstripped most, so either he had not noticed her, or he was a very good actor who had chosen to ignore her.

 And if he had not noticed, then that meant that she was either a High Goddess and just as powerful, or exceptionally talented in  magical barriers which she believed was the case.  Had she been a High Goddess, her energy and barrier would not have weakened so quickly, but still, to be observing Mo Yuan that closely and to have reached that level of anger, suggested that this woman was very dangerous, and if she held a position of power, then even more so.

And so for a time, she merely followed the mystery woman who was growing angrier by the second seeing as it was herself she was looking for.  But if this woman was proficient in magical barriers, then so was Bai Qian, probably even more than Mo Yuan seeing as she too was a High Goddess, something that the rest of the world was not yet aware of, having just passed her Ascension Trial.

And as she quietly followed behind the Goddess, her mind went back to her trial.  She had suddenly and withut warning, awoken without her memories or powers in the mortal world where she befriended a fisherman, a man who took her under his wing, taught her every manner of skills he knew while also ensuring her safety and in return, he sought marriage.  It was an amicable agreement seeing as she really had nowhere else to go and with no means to support herself, so she agreed.

Only the jealousy from the other men who also fell in love with her beautiful face, saw her soon to be husband murdered and from there a war broke out among the men for her hand.  Eventually, the village council deemed her to be a seductress and kicked her out of the village where she then found herself wandering aimlessly and without any support.

After wandering alone for some time,  she was picked up by a travelling circus who took her in, only once again, the men fell in love with her beautiful face and not only did a war erupt over her but the audiences also fell for her everywhere she went.  To her mind, it seemed that men in general only saw the face and body, they did not care for her likes or dislikes,and the lechery became deadly as more men were murdered at her feet no matter where she went.

Eventually news of a great seductress reached the ears of the Emperor who demanded she be captured alive with every intention of killing her.  Only the moment she was dragged into his court and forced to her knees before him, then he, like the rest fell in love with her along with every male in the room.

She had entered her trial with her true features, which in the Mortal Realm was otherworldly, a creature of Heaven, an angel sent to mankind and to the Emperor, that made her his.  Only once again, a war broke out among the men of his Palace, it was the effect her Immortal loveliness had on them and not only was the Empreror murdered over her, her face was quickly put behind a mask and she was placed on trial for being a seductress and a witch.
