Ting Ting, as he was known to both his peers and his seniors was the youngest of the Disciples and Mo Yuans favourite, and only because he was not a shy boy. Full of mischief, they could be certain that if anything untowards happened on the mountain, he would not be too far away. He was also the nosiest, the rudest, childish and the most unruly of them all, yet Mo Yuan rarely punished him. And for one reason only.
He reminded him a lot of himself when he was that age. Mo Yuan was always getting into trouble, though not to the extent that this boy did. Only Mo Yuan believed that having such a student on the mountain, kept the rest on their toes. A school needed to have at least one brat or life would be very boring indeed, so he allowed the child to be himself and being a kind boy at heart, his pranks were never so bad that he faced being kicked out and in many ways, Ting Ting saw this as permission to act out and take advantage of any given situation knowing that he would survive it.
Now sneaking about in Mo Yuans chamber, his wide eyes stared in awe at all the beautiful objects in his Shifus chamber. None of the students were allowed to have too many possssions. Most brought their own blankets from home, and favoured pillow, maybe some books and a small trinket that reminded them of home, otherwise their chambers were neat, orderly and free from desires.
Only looking about Mo Yuans chamber with his floor to ceiling shelves lined with all manner of books, the ornately carved candlabra, the intricately decorated vases in both gold and jade and even the beautiful marbled hearth had this Disciple wondering just how humble his Shifu actually was seeing as the rest of them would never be allowed to own such beautiful things. And having been raised in a small fishing village on the northern seaboard, this was the first time he had ever seen such extravagance, because his friend was right, no one was allowed into Shifus chamber.
And he would have continued to snoop about the chamber, even the large chest of drawers beside the enormous canopied bed with the silk curtains, only the sound of groaning coming from behind the door at the end of the chamber soon had him quickly moving towards it with a sudden fear in his heart. If Shifu was groaning, then it had to mean he was hurt, and suddenly all thoughts of his Shifus double standards and hypocacry was thrown from his head as he almost marched towards the door with murder on his mind, having thought his Shifu was being hurt.
Only the moment he pushed the door open, then a giant wall of energy erupted to block out what might be happening on the otherside.
"Shifu...." he called out frightened. He was used to having energy barriers thrown up around him, so he should not have been surprised, only the sound of water being sloshed about and a sudden harsh eruption of air before the barrier went up, instantly had him fearful for both himself and his Shifu.
"Shifu, what's happening? Should I get First Senior?" he began to cry now terrified when all sound was blocked out while any attempt to touch the barrier was immediately met with an ice cold sting against the palms of his hands.
With tears rolling down his face, Ting Ting, fled the chamber to alert his seniors to his Shifus plight, only to have his ear twisted sharply before being marched into the Grand Hall, where Die Fengs anger exploded at this child who would dare to disrespect Shifus privacy and risk his own punishment for not supervising him.
Ting Tings plight however was not on either of their minds, or at least not Mo Yuans having completely allowed himself to drown in the soft embrace of her breasts, while Bai Qians annoyance at the arrival of a mere child was soon forgotten the second her barrier was thrown up before he could see a thing. Though the sight of those big eyes and chubby little face appearing in the doorway, did remind her of Lok. That child was a nosey little brat, she thought to herself, and one she was going to have to watch carefully, much like Lok.
