Racing into the Grand Hall directly behind Mo Yuan who was taking much larger strides than her, Bai Qian collided with his back the moment he came to a crashing halt.  And one look over his shoulder had her mouth dropping along with his at the spectacle in full motion across the dais and down the side walls as every Disciple clambered up the makeshift ladders to hang the wedding banners her mother had brought with her.  Though there were several more Disciples outside also hanging banners which not only lined the entrance but also the sides walls of the monolithic building as well.

"Ahhhh, there you two are.  It's so nice that you could join us for the fun." her mother laughed at the look of astonishment on their faces.  Because not only were the Disciples busy obeying her every command, but her father and two brothers were in the kitchen with Chang Shan and going over the menu which had to include several meat dishes, afterall, foxes ate meat and being men with hearty stomachs, her father and brother did not want to be eating a vegetarian diet which they literally bullied Chang Shan into agreeing to.

Zhe Yan on the other hand was quietly playing go with Ting Ting, or rather teaching him.  It seemed as if the two had become instant best friends and of course Ting Ting would find Zhe Yans flamboyant and colourful nature appealing.  Only what had her mouth dropping further was the Tree Sprite.  Having assumed Die Feng had meant Mi Gu, she was absolutely stunned to see Lok resting on Ting Tings shoulders while trying to burrow his way into the boys collar having caught her attention.

"Mother....?" she finally found her voice and her feet before tentatively taking a few steps.

"Darling.  Mo Yuan arrived in Qing Qiu three days ago to ask for your hand and we of course graciously accepted.  Did he not tell you that the wedding banners were ready for collection?" she asked with laughing eyes seeing as Mo Yuan was now looking very guilty at having forgotten.

"No he did not..." Bai Qian briefly glared at him before her mother quickly dragged her to the podium where the last of the banners were being erected.

"I know it is proper that we seek your permission before accepting the proposal but seeing as you are showing no signs of leaving Kunlun Mountain, we took it as a given that you were in agreement." she apologized as her eyes honed in on the happy flushed face that was nodding her head back at her.

"It's fine mother, really.  I have no complaints." Bai Qian grinned at her as she then led her mother out towards the east wall where they could talk and catch up on each others news and leaving Mo Yuan to deal with change of scenery.

"When did you get back?" Bai Qian asked once they were both seated for what was looking to be a beautiful sunset on the horizon.

"Three days ago.  Your brother came to drag us back for an urgent meeting with Mo Yuan." she replied grinning at the memory of a nervous War God standing in the den, dressed in yellow and looking every bit the love sick fool her father had also portrayed the day he arrived in her parents home seeking the same thing.

"Ahhh..... I see. Mo Yuan did tell me, but we haven't had a chance to talk about it yet." she replied before blushing heavily at the knowing smile on her mother's face.

"Are you sure he is the one you want Qian Qian?" she asked seeing as she was completely unaware that her daughter even knew him.

"Yes, I'm positive. I don't want anyone else." she smiled in a way that had her mother wondering just how long she had known the man, because there was something in that smile that suggested that their relationship was still new yet familiar.

"Then that is all that matters.  So long as you are happy Qian Qian, though living here will definitely see some changes to your life, but you are a quiet girl by nature so I think this temple will suit you." she said smiling back at her.
