*Lex's POV*

"Oh come on. You've got to let me make up this test Mrs. Jenson. I was sick." I pleaded with her.

"Alexis, you had the chance to schedule a make up this morning and you missed it, so I'm not sure what you want me to do." She said.

"Let me make up the test! I need to take this test, or my athletic career will be on its way down hill. This is the class I've been struggling with and I was just getting things at a good level, so if I miss this test I'm screwed!" I kind of yelled.

"Do not raise your voice at me. You had your chance, and you missed it. So please, if you will excuse me. My third period class will be here in a minute." She said.

"But, Mrs. Jenson, please. I need this grade to stay in softball.." I begged.

"Have a good day, Miss. Taylor." She stated.

With a loud sigh in frustration I grabbed my bag and walked out of her class, making my way to third period, study hall.

"You good?" I heard from next to me as I sat in my seat.

"No, Rei, I'm not. I tried to get Mrs, Jenson to let me take that test I missed in her class yesterday, and she won't." I told her.

"That's bullshit. You should be allowed to take it. You were sick. She's a bitch anyways, everyone wants her to just retire already." She told me.

"If only." I wished. "I'll figure something out." I added.

"So, I've got some great gossip for you today, wanna know?" She chuckled.

"Of course." I told her.

"So, I was scrolling through Facebook earlier in home room and I came across this article titled 'Teacher loses job over sexual relations with 17 y/o female student' and I read it. Oh my god. Listen." She said.

So I turned to face her and listened.

"The article said that a female teacher, by the name of Anna, we don't get the last name, ended up in court because the female she was having a "relationship" with ended up telling her parents about it, or someone else did, we don't yet the full story. Turns out she was fired and I guess ended up really ruining her rep." She told me.

"Damn, that's some crazy shit. Is there a picture of her?" I asked her.

"Nope, unfortunately not. Hopefully at least she was hot." She laughed.

"Agreed" I chuckled.

"Miss. Taylor, Miss. Adams. Is there something you both would like to share with everyone? You know there's not suppose to be any talking." Mrs. Jones asked.

"No, thank you." Rei answered.

We looked at each other and chuckled.

"We'll talk in band." I whispered.

Shes nodded.

After what seemed like forever, the bell finally rang and we walked out of the room and down the hall together. We passed through the math wing, and saw Miss. Evans standing outside her classroom talking to another teacher. She noticed us out of the corner of her eye and looked our direction as we walked past.

"Alexis, Reilly. How're you girls?" She asked smiling.

"Really good, and you?" Rei answered, not letting me get a word in.

"Great. Thank you for asking." Mrs. Evans smiled.

We walked away and I elbowed her.
