Chapter Eleven

"Did you miss me, Maddie? I missed you!" Clau said as he handed me a paper bag.

"What's this?"

"Open it, come on. I bought that for you when I was in New York." he smiled. I opened the paper bag and saw an LV bag. Wow!

"Napansin ko kasing iba iba ang dala mong bag araw araw so I assumed na mahilig ka sa bags." he explained.

"Thank you! But, it's not my birthday or something. Like, there's nothing special."

"Oh, speaking of birthday. I got a party to throw after prelims and your family is invited. We sent the invitation to your mansion already."

Magkakilala pala talaga ang family namin. I wasn't aware lang talaga because meddling with other people's business was never my thing. Like, busy ako sa travels lagi e.

Clau and I enjoyed each other sa mall before we headed to EU. Nandoon kasi ang car ko, and niyaya lang niya ako magstroll kanina nung nakasalubong ko siya. Actually, wala talaga akong class but I needed my books kasi, nasa locker ko.

Sinamahan muna ako ni Clau kunin ang books ko before siya magpaalam at pumasok na sa class niya. That guy had a lot of make-ups to do. Over a week din siyang nawala e.

I stayed inside my car for a while, when I thought of messaging Sir Damon. Buti na lang online siya.

Madison: do u have class po ngayon?

Damon: i dont

Madison: lunch?

Damon: no thanks

Madison: coffee?

Damon: no

I frowned. I sent him a picture of the front of Love Café.

Madison: im here po sa baba

Damon: miss west

I don't know but I felt kilig, what the hell? I must be crazy! This happy crush thingy got me freaking crazy. Pinilit ko siya nang pinilit hanggang sa pumayag na siya. Now, he's in front of me. Shocks, so handsome.

"Let's go?" I happily said. Napilit ko kasi siyang sabihin sa akin ang sched niya today. I just told him na hindi ako aalis here hangga't hindi siya nagsasabi at pumapayag.

"You are supposed to be studying now." he said instead of answering me. Oh, please? I'm confident sa lahat ng subjects ko except sa accounting.

"But I'm starving already and I can't just eat alone. You know, it feels lonely." hindi ko alam kung saan ako humuhugot ng lakas ng loob now. Maybe because he showed me how gentleman and approachable he was last night? I mean, I never saw him show any emotions before!

Again, naiwan na naman ang car ko sa school kasi Sir Damon couldn't trust me raw. Hmp. He asked me kung saan ko gustong kumain.

"Uhm, have you tried eating sa Jollibee? I heard the chicken was savory. I wanna try but Mom's gonna kill me if she finds out." I said and he just smiled. Hindi pa rin talaga ako ready sa mga biglaang smile at laugh niya e.

"Baby." I heard him murmur. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko agad agad! What the—did he call me baby? Like, the baby na may landi? I hope so! Joke.

"What?"

"Nothing." he shook his head and chuckled. Tingnan mo 'tong taong 'to. Napakadry kausap sa cellphone pero nakakamalfunction ng heart in person.

"But, Mom won't find out if no one's gonna tell her." I meaningfully said.
