Chapter Fifteen

I woke up with my head resting on Dam's toned chest and his arms enveloping my body under the comforter. He was still asleep so I took advantage of that and stared at his face. I used to dislike bearded guys but now, I'm loving it on him. I held his face lightly, not wanting to wake him up.

I still can't believe everything that's happening between us. I mean, no one confesses yet but I can't just say that we're nothing or we're just friends. We can't be either of the two. I know, there's something. And I'm never gonna rush things. Whatever he thinks is right for the both of us, I know it's truly right. I trust him, and I will always do.

I suddenly felt his hand on my nape and pushed me closer to him just to get welcomed by his kiss. I didn't move. I just let him drown me through his kisses again. What a good way to start this day.

We both gasped for air after pulling away. Damon kissed my forehead and hugged me again. And right after that moment, may kumatok sa door. I tried to move away but Dam was too strong to not let me. Wala siyang pakialam kahit may pumasok na sa room namin.

I heard a sound of a phone's camera. I was about to stand up and shout at their faces but again, Dam didn't let me go. "Five minutes."

Kanina pa kami tinutukso nina Oura but Damon didn't seem to care basta yakap niya ako. He let my friends see this sweet side of him, I can't.

"I'm afraid Duncan and his friends might go after Damon so we're keeping it all to ourselves. I forwarded it to you naman, check your inbox na lang on facebook. We'll go for a run muna. Enjoy!" Oura said.

Dam was quick to give me a peck on the lips when we both heard the door opened and closed. He smiled at me. Ang bango ng hininga ng taong 'to.

"Good morning, Miss West." he said and kissed my forehead. And the hug that was supposed to last for five minutes lasted for an hour as we both fell asleep again.

Nagising lang ulit kami sa ingay ni Yvan. She was singing her lungs out. Her voice, ugh. Disgusting.

"Oh, come on! We already gave you enough time to find the courage to part pero until now, dikit na dikit pa rin kayo! Hello? May kasama kayo?!" heard Oura's yell.

Damon tried not to let me go when I tried to pull his arms away from me but I said my friends couldn't totally enjoy if we would just lie on bed and hug each other the whole day. And so he quickly stood from the bed and gently pulled me para makabangon na rin ako.

"You smell like Damon na! It's so obvious na nagyakapan kayo buong magdamag, ha!" Yvan said.

"Kainggit naman! Tweet ko nga 'yan, parinig ako kay Ash. Hug me until I smell like you. Tweet sent!"

I am confused kung ano bang pinunta namin dito sa Baguio kasi hindi naman kami lumalabas. Naglalaro lang kami ng cards, nagpipicture taking, kumakain. Well, it's our typical vacay naman talaga but we are with Damon kasi. Baka mamaya, bored na siya or naiinis kina Oura. I mean, sobrang ingay nila e tapos puro lang siya titig sa 'kin tuwing nagphophotoshoot kami. Okay, Dam, I get that I'm pretty, okay?! Can't you just leave my heart in peace even just for a little while?

Finally, lumabas din kami nang bandang hapon. We're here sa likod ng bahay at nag-ooverlook. Ang ganda ng place, sobra. Yvanna's rest house is located on a hill kasi kaya ang ganda ng view.

I'm wearing Damon's sweater again. Kaming dalawa na lang ang nandito and hindi ko alam kung nasaan sila. Siguro pumasok na, lagi naman silang basta basta nawawala.

"What an amazing view!" I heard Yvan's voice kaya napatingin ako sa direction niya. Nandoon sila sa veranda sa likod ng house and they were smiling at their phones.
