Chapter 2

I walked home alone like always from the little lake hidden in the mass amount of green pine trees. I ran my fingers along the wood as I walked down the dirt path back to my bland looking home with my boring little family.

Who did not give one shit about me.

There was a light drizzle of rain that splashed onto my warm skin and my hair stood up from the contact.

I watch the drops of liquid fall from the gray sky in small combined groups.

I started to play with the rain as it fell to the earth in freezing cold circles. The sky was gray and a little light barely broke through the clouds. It reminded me of my personality.....Dull.

As I walked out from the trees that lined my backyard I could see the soft glow of light streaming out from the windows of my perfectly white house with its brightly painted shutters.

I did not want to face my shitty little family so I sat on the damp grass watching the sun slowly fall behind the mountains in the small town of ugly Wonder.

I stood up from the grass slowly then all at once. The lights in the windows had finally been turned off so there was not a chance I would run into my mother or my little bratty sister.

Madison the thing that was my sister. Everyone loved Madison even her name was common just like her looks.

Her hair was always straight and her blue eyes always caught people's attention. She was the version of a small Barbie.

She had the looks just like Bitch Becky even If she was only in middle school but she seemed to carry the same hatred for me like everyone else in this stupid hell hole. She wore designer cloths and carried purses with her to school.

Pulling at my plain brown hair that I have no idea where I got it from. My mother and my father both had bright blond hair and Madison took after them with her looks. I was the ugly duckling in the batch.

My mother always told me I got my brown hair from my grandmother that I have never been able to meet.

The only thing I have in common was that I have the same shape hands as my mother. Long slender fingers with small wrists. Madison has my fathers hands, they both have large wrists.

Opening the sliding glass door I step into our warm little house. The only noise that I can hear is the soft clicking sound of the clock above the fire place. Looking at it I see that it is almost 11 at night.

Walking down the hall to my room I open the white painted door and flop onto my bed with a loud sigh.

My bedroom was downstairs right next to the small garage that is filled with two Mercedes. Everyone else in the house sleeps upstairs even the God damn dog sleeps upstairs with a brand new bed.

My parents and my sister are the only ones who knew about my power to manipulate water under my finger tips but everybody in the town doesn't even need to know that about me they already see me as the black sheep in all the bright white well kept ones.

I rolled of the top of my bed to put on my black pajamas and brush my teeth before going to bed.

After brushing my hair I pull back the covers on my twin sized bed and lay inside. Just another thing that my sister had better then me.

She got the queen sized bed a bigger room and everything she ever wanted. I was not the child they wanted.

I was different, nobody in this place want something different everything has to be the same.
