"F...F...Fucking hell Ritchy w...w..what the hell happened to you?!" Rory yelled out, his stutter more prominent than Mandy had described, as the lads and I walked into the Grapes off the frozen street for a pre-performance pint. Rory was sat next to Mandy who he had his arm around, in the lads usual place before calling out to us. The rest of Rory's band was sat with them having a game of cards before we joined them, their faces just as shocked as Rory and Mandy's.
"Sis? What happened? Why are all the boys black and blue?" She excuses herself from Rory's embrace and places her hand cautiously on my arm looking back at the boys as they all sat around the table leaving me and my sister to talk privately in the corner.
"That's a long story-" I start before she gives me that "tell me" look that big sisters do. I hesitated and finally gave in telling her everything that had happened earlier that day."That dirty scumbag, he was going to make you give him a blowie just because you're mates with John?" She questions again after I'd told her the story three times through. I nodded solemnly as her face grew redder with anger.
"Where is he now?" She grunts angrily, crossing her arms over her chest.
"The boys sorted him and his lot out, they're all in the hospital." I reply earning a scoff from my big sister. She shook her head and looks at her feet to hide her frustration.
"I would've put them 6 feet under." She smirks back up at me and I just shook my head and laughed.
"I know that's why I'm thankful the boys took care of it." I giggled squeezing myself past her to sit down in the booth as she tuts.Mandy followed closely behind and patted all the boys on the back as a thank you. They were all invested in the poker game that had been going on before we got there before Rory spoke up again, placing his arm around my sister as she sat beside him again.
"So a...a..are you going to tell m..me what happened or n..not?" He asked breaking the boys concentration away from the cards.
John cleared his throat, conjuring up a clever reply."A gang of angry prostitutes jumped us when we refused to put out." He smirked proudly as the rest of the lads groaned and giggled at his childish nature.
"G...Get out! There's prozzies in Liverpool? Where?" Rory joked acting eager looking round the pub, earning a hit to the chest from a disapproving girlfriend.
"Straight up." John nodded sticking to his bullshit story.
"Fuck off W..Winston." Rory laughed dismissing Johns fairytale, looking to Ringo for the actual reason they strolled in black and blue. Ringo took a drag of his cig, placing the cards down on the table and sighed."Some college kid was trying it on with Amelia, trying to make her do stuff to him so me and the lads sorted them out is all." He shrugged as the rest of the band stared at me shocked.
"What's h..his name? I can m..make sure he never bothers you again love." Rory speaks up turning his attention to me in shock, a genuine caring look on his face.
"I appreciate it....all of you.....but he's not worth our time or anger, he wanted a reaction and he got one, let's just leave it at that." I sigh, becoming slightly irate at the whole situation now, feeling stupid I ever let it happen.George noticed my sudden change of mood and brought himself over to me and placed himself besides me in the booth, lacing his hand around my waist and resting it on my thigh, giving me a quick kiss on the cheek.
"You alright sunshine?" He whispers to me as the rest of the lads become more engrossed in the card game. I turn my attention to him and noticed his face was a lot closer than I originally thought. I jumped and giggled slightly as he smirked at me, I kiss him in the cheek, earning myself one from him too.
"Oh I'm fine, I just need a drink in me I think." I giggle slightly, he reaches into his pocket, his tongue slipping out in concentration and pulls out a pound.
