Taufan looked confused.
"You told me to prove it, so I did."
"Stop lying, Taufan."
"I am not lying, Gem. I am happy."
"Stop it. You're not. I can see through you."
Taufan gave him a broken smile.
"I am happy, Gem. I'm happy seeing you all smile and laugh."
"But you're not."
"I am."
"That's not what I meant and you know it."
Taufan let out a small laugh.
"No need to let them know that."
"You don't have to fake a smile all the time, Taufan."
"I had to, Gem. They had enough problems. I don't need to add to it."
