I know this is not easy for you, or even my father, but I have to do this for us all.
I'm sorry for leaving before you woke up. I couldn't face the conversation I knew we would have, so please forgive me for my cowardice. I know I wouldn't be able to leave if I had to look at your face and walk away.
I just want to say that I love you, granddad. Please tell that to my dad as well. Let's just hope that everything will go as planned today, and that I will be going home tonight.
Should worse comes to worst, then please try to move on, and I shall be waiting for you on the other side.
We might be strong, but so is Retak'ka. Let us just hope for the best. I will try my best to be able to go home tonight.

I know I have not posted for a week now. The past week has been... hard for me. But do not fret, I am doing okay, or at least, I'm as fine as I should be doing.
