"I thought we were going back to yours?"
Wyatt watched as Tyler turned left instead of right, he was sure T's place was the other way.
"I'm hungry," Tyler looked over at him.
T made his way into the vallet parking of what seemed to be an exclusive, fancy restaurant.
Wyatt remembered always passing by this place when him and his friends went out to eat. They always wondered why it was so exclusive.
Wyatt watched as T gave the vallet his keys, unlocking the door as he got out.
"You staying in the car?" Tyler chuckled, looking back at him.
Wyatt wasn't sure what was going on. He complied, getting out of the car as he caught up to T. Tyler opened the door to the restaurant, Wyatt walking behind.
It was darkly lit—the only lighting coming from the candles on the tables that were set up.
There was a chandelier at the top of each table too, a few more candles on them but it was still dim.
"Mr. Okonma! I haven't seen you come around since Imaan's birthday last year," an older lady behind the desk smiled at him.
"I know, we've both been crazy busy," he started to take out his wallet.
"Oh no, don't worry about the entry card, I already have you set up," she replied, grabbing the menu.
"Oh–where's Imaan?" She looked behind T, meeting eyes with Wyatt.
"I brought one of my students instead. He's interning at the studio." Tyler tried to come up with an excuse, Wyatt could see it.
She laughed lightly.
"Your protégé?"
Tyler looked back at Wyatt, grinning.
"I guess, yeah."
She looked over at Wyatt.
"You're very lucky to have him as your teacher. He's incredibly talented."
Wyatt smiled.
She had them follow her to a table in the back of the restaurant, it had a view of the garden it in the back.
"I'll get you started with some water."
She left.
They sat in front of each other.
"I'm interning at your studio?" Wyatt laughed.
"I had to make something up."
"I know."
Tyler watched as Wyatt looked around the restaurant, his eyes tracing all the decor.
He noticed everyone's attire was extremely fancy, rich people in rich clothing.Wyatt felt incredibly out of place.
"I've never been here before," Wyatt replied.
"Probably because you need an entry card to get in." Tyler fixed up his cardigan.
"The fuck is that?"
"You have to be sent a card by the owner. Shit is exclusive." Tyler shrugged.
They opened up their menus, Wyatt scanning everything.
"The cheapest thing on here is the bread and it's still over fifty." Wyatt looked down at the menu.
"Don't worry about it. Get whatever you want."
The lady came back with waters.
"Are you ready love?" She asked, taking out the notepad.
