The two teenagers sit, sleeping on the armchair. Her head is snuggled into the crook of his shoulder, his arms wrap around her torso. All is peaceful. All is peaceful except their dreams. They bother the two teenagers. The dreams drill fear into them, coming from the angles at which the defences are weak. Nothing is peaceful. Nothing is peaceful on the inside.
At the same time, two words are spoken.
"Streetlight!"
"Shadow!"
The cries come on cue, exactly. Now both people are wide awake. Fears forms a bubble surrounding them.

Leo's pov
Five days. Five dreams. Five shadows. Five muddy brown-red figures. At the time when y/n needs me most, I shy away. Her crazy ass ex might win this battle, but the war, well that's to be thoroughly debated. He dominates our dreams and knows exactly where to penetrate.
Yes. I'm scared of the dark. Its not very manly, and doesn't make life any easier, but I can't exactly change it.
The dream knew where to target me; the dark, the nail polish, the umbra. But its not about me. Y/n is getting it a lot worse than I am. Every night she wakes up crying, frightened. Only she knows just what he is capable of, and it scares her. It scares me too.

Y/n's pov
I pretend to stay strong, but I don't think Leo is buying it. He has a right to be more scared than me, he got attacked by the guy. But Reuben is mad, lie psycho-mad. We try to forget about it by forming another conversation.
"Hey, y/n, I don't know that much about you, tell me stuff. Like whose your favourite actor?" Leo starts.
"Ummm, Dylan O'Brien or Thomas Sangster, duh!"
"Favourite food?"
"Easy, Nutella."
"No, like a real food, like a meal." He argues.
"Nando's chicken or BBQ ribs, I guess."
"Favourite color!?"
"Grey, but like so dark it's almost black, but not quite." Leo doesn't look happy with my answer.
"Actual colorful color."
"A natural reddy-orange. Like a murderer swiped his palm through a sunset, blurring all the oranges together with the blood on his hand."
"That is deep. How much thought went into that!?"
I laugh but wonder where that came from, I don't usually put thought into stuff. I think nothing of it and just tell myself I'm overthinking it.
"My turn to ask questions! Ok. Fave song you've written?"
"Thousand Years." Leo says, blushing.
"Fave song not written by you?"
"Like every Twenty One Pilots song ever!!!!!!"
"OMG ME TOOOOOOO!!!!!!" I scream back. We both fall into a bottomless pit of uncontrollable laughter. By the end of about ten minutes, we both have tears down our cheeks. I never realised till now just how good-looking Leo was. I always knew he was hot, but not this much. His eyes screamed for you to look at them, and when you did, you just couldn't turn away. There was something about him though, that showed he had been through too much for his age, that something hurt him, bad. Was it a friend, a girlfriend? I decided to let it go, I didn't want to upset him.

AN
Seems like ages since I wrote one of these. I've been told that the last chapter was a bit confusing. sorrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Changing the subject, I had a dream last night. So basically, I was being chased by a massive eyeball down the streets of London. Then Boris Johnson and Donald Trump jumped out and started trying to eat it. It popped and created a flood that killed everyone except me because I got picked up by a Pterodactyl. It then morphed into a shopping trolley with seagull wings. It started singing the Danger Days album by My Chemical Romance and then dropped me into the arms of none other than Gerard Way. He sang me 'Teenagers' which is fitting because I have Ephebiphobia. And then took me to the first reunion show (MCR is having a reunion and the first show was today- 20th December). After that he bought me tickets to the Twenty One Pilots show in Moscow next year. Then, I met Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. Then I woke up. But the dream wasn't over. I was LINDSEY WAY (Gerard's wife since 2007) and being her was awesome.

Anyway, I've decided that on each chapter I'm gonna ask a question.
Q: Favourite cartoon as a child?
A: I loved In The Night Garden. I was totally  obsessed with it when I was like three.

On another subject, I just want to apologise for slow updates. And cliffhangers. It gets interesting soon though. Like REALLY INTERESTING. just saying. No spoilers. NONE.

Bye my cinnamon rolls. (I look like I'm gonna kill you and suck out your blood but I'm really a cinnamon roll. JK I would kill you and suck out your blood.

ANYWHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, see you next time. LYSM KEEP BEING AWESOME. xx <3<3<3<3
