"I knew you possessed something, my friend. You can read and speak everything in every single language. It doesn't take you very long before you learn something new. That's your ability, your brain function is impressive." He informed me. I looked at him. "Are you serious?" "No." I smiled. He's sarcastic.

His smile was bright and full of joy. "We finally can communicate directly with our collaborators in the South-East section." "Do you have collaborators around the world?" I asked confused. "Well. Yes. They're all organized well and copied from our country, America. But we want to communicate with them because a lot of their criminal organizations also have departments in America and one of our most wanted criminals have organizations and departments in their countries."

My eyes grew bigger. "Woah! I didn't know that!" "Of course you didn't." He rolled his eyes and his smile disappeared. "Go on. Read. Learn the language. I'll be back soon." He said. He grabbed the gun and left the room. I sighed and searched through the books. I don't want to learn Turkish, like hell I will!

I grabbed an English book and read the cover. Daybreak... I smiled and started reading. The book was about a boy who lived the last night of his life. He lived his life lovely and did everything he wanted with his lover in the last night of his life. Because he sacrificed his soul to a demon to make his dying lover heal from cancer. I was very caught by the end of the book when the woman and the man said their goodbyes. The man said she had to move on and live happily, he would be watching her from above. Then the man fell and died while his lover kept crying.

"This is true love," I whispered to myself and closed the book. "I know right!" The female voice scared me so much that I fell off my chair. "What the?!" I heard the girl laugh. "I'm sorry if I scared you." She held up her hand and helped me up.

"Have you read this book?" I asked her. She nodded. "I think it's one of the best books I've read so far." Her voice was a bit harsh but sweet. Her light brown hair was sleek and lied on her shoulders. She had blue eyes with round glasses. Her length was really disturbing though, she was like 1.60m... I'm 1.87. She wore normal clothes, black jeans with a red top. She smiled at me and I was hearing her soft voice once again. "What about you? What's your favourite book?" "I think this one. I haven't read much lately so I wouldn't know." I answered.

"That's a bummer! The library has the best books ever! How come you never visit it?" She said. "I just came here. I didn't even know this whole organization existed before 2 days ago." I told her. "What? How is that possible?" I chuckled. "I don't even know myself. Sir Thompson kind of kidnapped us. I tried to resist but eventually, I fainted and woke up here." She rubbed her forehead. "Why the heck would he do that?" "Like I know."

I totally forgot Thompson was going to come back soon. I didn't care. His mood swings are so fucking weird! They're creeping me out. I feel like having fun so I'm going to hang out with her.

She suddenly smiled and grabbed my wrist. "Let me show you something. Since you're new you probably don't know about it." I nodded and she leads me further into the library. We came across a lot of books and people who were searching through the books. Everyone was wearing usual clothes, I was the only one with the training suit.

Eventually, we came to a big white door. "C'mon." She said and opened the door. The sound of birds and jungle came across and we were into a tunnel of glass. Out there were a lot of birds chirping. She closed the cold, iron door and opened a door of glass on the side. I followed her and saw a lot of plants and trees everywhere. I saw a scientist talking to one of the birds. I recognized her.

"Miss Dolan! I didn't know they had this in here." She laughed. "Sweetie, you don't know anything about the organization, c'mon." I smiled when I heard that nickname. "Hey, Adelyn. May I show him around?" She asked. "Sure. Then I can focus on my babies." She said. The bird immediately started to chirp loudly. "I know, I know, I'm sorry I had to call you my babies even though I'm not your mother! Just let me in my element, oh god please!" She said with a weird voice and walked away to talk to more birds.

"She can... understand what they... chirp?!" The small girl grabbed my wrist again and chuckled. "Yes! A lot of them can! Mekayla Waterson also can. But more likely with dogs or horses, I'm not sure. Adelyn is most surely to talk with the birds in here. The birds fly over the whole world so they mostly know what's going on." I nodded. She was right.

"Hey, I forgot I didn't catch your name." I suddenly said. She laughed. "Right. But you first!" I frowned surprised and nodded. She let go of my wrist and we sat down on a tree trunk. "So. I'm Tariq Cote." I told her. "What's your age?" I frowned again and honestly answered. "17, why?" "You seem like 20." She looked at me seriously. "What did you do above the ground?" "I was a dancer with my own free-running style. Me and three other boys danced in a group, 4U. Ever heard of it?" She shook her head.

So these people will just treat us like normal people and not like celebrities? What the heck? This is awesome! Now I can finally get some normal friends. "So? What about you?" I asked. "I'm Yshbel Evans, born here and never been above the ground. I don't know what kind of missions I wanna do so I'm staying here and I'm working in a pet shop." I nodded. "And how old are you?" "19" I looked at her in shock. "Seriously?!" She chuckled again and nodded.

"I'm allowed to drink alcohol~." She said happily and did a little dance. I laughed. "Is that why you like being that age? What about the responsibilities, jobs and shit?" She smiled. "I can handle it because it's not really that much in here. Besides, I can do anything I wanna and I love it!"
