The platform stopped and I suddenly looked at Thompson. He wore a black tight suit with different guns on his back and on his waist. I gulped. "Cote and Canaïs." He said. His eyes were like the devil itself.

I gulped. "First, you let them track you with a damn GPS tracker and then you're trying to sneak out with Yamai? We're not even a week into this trial but you're a damn irritating student!" He said to me. "I know, I'm sorry." "Don't tell me such lies. We both know it's not true." He almost yelled in my face. "I will set up guards for you and your training is going to be doubled up. After a month, we'll see how you guys do in the field." He said and walked away.

"Follow me." Agent Silver said. The silver-haired girl was wearing the same outfit but without the guns. She had some knives on her back. Agent Silver lead us outside the building and brought us to the Centre of Health, her partner was already gone off somewhere. "Look, I'm not a fucking babysitter so you better listen to me or else I'll make you guys pay myself." She said and pushed us inside a big door of glass. "I'll see you in two hours. Don't make me wait." She said.

Adelyn Dolan waited for us inside the building. When she saw us her happy glance changed to disappointment and sadness. She didn't say anything when she leads us downstairs. We entered a room where only Jay sat on a chair. There were three more chairs. Adelyn Dolan pointed to the chairs next to Jay and walked outside. She clearly didn't want to talk to me.

"What did you guys do?" Jay asked. "You were away for an hour!" I sighed and started talking. "We sneaked after Waterson, but it was some weird kind of illusion in our minds. We don't know why Waterson ran away." "Some weird chick made a ventilation shaft for us so we ended up outside. And that other chick from the 'illusion in our minds' created some weird forest and they worked along to make us confused. Eventually, the iron chick who made the shaft picked us up with a car and we ended up back here." Yamai explained.

"That's weird. Why do they want us in here and not outside?" Jay asked. "They're keeping secrets for us and I want to get out of here. I dislike this fucking stupid organisation with their stupid training and stupid-" "Alright, alright, I get it." Adelyn Dolan said and walked into the room. "You know I can hear you right?" Her voice sounded irritated because of Yamai's words. Or maybe because of everything we've done.

"We keep secrets because we don't trust you yet. We thought we could trust you guys within a week, but that's not the case here." She explained. "And we're giving you the chance to grab your own lives and make the best of it, instead of being in jail. I can bring you to jail if that's what you want." Yamai shook his head slowly. "My life as an idol is too important to me." He confessed.

"You may not know all the reasons why we brought you here. Like Thompson told you, it's up to you to make the best of it. Tariq already has his past here. We all know him but he doesn't remember us. We discovered his ability, learned him 30 different languages and taught him to fight. But he forgot it. Memory loss in a car accident, it wasn't an accent if that's what you think. It was someone inside the organisation." She said. I looked at her. The smile of the 19-year old Adelyn Dolan fully disappeared now.

"We loved you so we couldn't kill you. So we set you free. Someone in the organisation disagreed with full hatred towards you, unlike the rest of us. That person stole a car on one of his missions, followed you and tried to kill you. But he failed. He killed himself and critically injured you." She took a small break to drink some water. It clearly was difficult for her, we all remained quiet and listened to her story.

"That's when we visited you in the hospital. They said your mind took the most damage. My father and I, as doctors, saved your life. We gave you unknown medicine which also wipes out your memory. And it worked. You're alive, the only thing that's left is a couple of scars on your chest and legs." She said. "You forgot me, Thompson and Houston. You were born here, raised here till you were ten. You were such a young child but we had to abandon you."

"What did he do?" Yamai asked. "He contacted someone from the outside who attacked Thompson's first mission with his team. He was the only one who survived the attack. So Tariq basically killed them all. His brain activity had the capacity of a 20-year old at the time of his 10th birthday because of his ability. So that's how he managed to do all this when he was just a kid. It's why you're so smart." Adelyn explained.

Her voice broke when she tried to talk but she coughed to hide it. "I'm sorry it's also hard on me. My brother was one of the members of Thompson's team. They haven't found his body. He was supposed to be right hand but Houston found him that night and that's how he got right hand." She took a deep breath. "Now you know everything about your past. Do something with it." Her eyes suddenly had an intense glare into mine which gave me thrills. "Otherwise, I'll kill you myself," Adelyn said. "Tariq Cote."
