Recap:

"Great. I'm gonna head over to my house now then. I have to make a quick phone call."

"I'll see you there then." With a quick peck on the lips, Lauren ran upstairs while being careful not to step on anything sharp.

Meanwhile, Camila quickly made her way over to her house. She pulled out her phone and ran through her contacts to find the number she needed.

"Hello?" The other person on the line answered.

"We have a problem."

Dun Dun Duuuuuuuun.

Real time:

"What happened?"

Camila glanced through her front window to watch out for the green-eyed girl walking over to her house. "Ashley left her phone when she destroyed Lauren's house, that's what happened! Her place is literally trashed!"

"We know."

"What do you mean you know?"

"Look, like we told you yesterday, Lauren is ruining our process here. If you want to become a model that everyone fears, you need to get rid of her. We thought that if we set up a break-in from Ashley then maybe she'd be too scared to date you. That's all."

"Are you fucking kidding me? What the fuck is wrong with you? Does Dinah know you did this?"

"Of course Dinah doesn't know. She's too far up your ass to ever agree with this. But hey, you're the one who hired me as your publicist. Now tell me, did it work?"

Camila opened her mouth to reply, but her words were caught in her mouth as Lauren rung her doorbell. "You here that? Lauren is at my door despite waking up to her house being vandalized by me 'ex.' So no, but nice try."

She hung up the phone and ran to the door. She whipped it open, and there stood the only person who could make Camila's day any better.

"Come in, Laur. You know, you really don't have to ring the doorbell anymore. You're free to just walk in... Although, a heads up would be nice just in case-"

"Babe, I'll probably always ring the doorbell cause I don't like feeling intrusive to other people's homes."

"Oh, right. Well I was just saying that cause-"

"Stop talking, please." Lauren rushed up to the girl and caught her lips between hers. Camila immediately relaxed in the girls arms and brought her hands to her cheeks. They stayed in that position until they had to catch their breaths.

"Do that anytime you need me to shut up," Camila said as she breathed heavily.

"I'll keep that in mind," Lauren smiled as she looked the girl in the eyes. "So who were you on the phone with before I got here.

Camila contemplated what to tell the girl. She wants to tell the truth, but she doesn't know what Lauren's reaction would be. Before she took too much time thinking, she blurted out " Just Dinah. I had a couple questions about the next shoot I'm modeling for."

"Ah I see. What magazine?"

"L'Officiel."

"Not quite my taste, but I'll definitely buy a few copies if you're on the front cover," Lauren winked.

"I could probably get you a free copy, you dork."

"Make that like... Five copies."

"Oh whatever!" Camila threw her head back in laughter. Camila wanted to be happy in this moment, but all she could feel was her stomach in knots. She just lied to Lauren. She knows who wrecked her house and she didn't tell her despite knowing that Lauren is worried about it.
