The following days after their kiss were... sickening... literally.

Turns out that Lauren had unknowing got the flu, and due to the lack of information, Camila contracted said sickness after she kissed the green eyed girl. You'd think one little innocent kiss would do no harm, but boy would you be wrong.

It started off with a sore throat. Camila just brushed it off and assumed she ate something to irritate her throat a little bit. Then came the headache. It was almost her time of the month though so she just took some Advil and went on with her day. Then came the runny nose. At this point, Camila knew what was going on, so she called Lauren to see if she had anything similar happening to her. When her neighbor answered the phone with a groggy voice and sniffled every five seconds, the younger girl knew exactly what had happened.

"So you're coming here to get me even more sick? You know this isn't algebra, right? Us both being sick and hanging out isn't going to cancel out our germs. We'll still be sick." Camila argued as Lauren walked through her front door holding a blanket and a box of tissues.

"True, but this way we can still spend time together. I had to stop painting because I sneezed all over my masterpiece. We can suffer together since there's no way you can model while you're sick. Don't get me wrong, you look beautiful with your red nose and everything, but the flashes are too bright and you'll feel like shit."

Despite her nose already being red, Camila felt her cheeks flaring up at the older girls compliment. "I'm too sick for this. You need to stop being so perfect."

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Lauren gave her a wide grin and sat down on the girl's sofa. "So, judging by the used tissues all over the table and the feast of snacks, we have the same idea on what to do today. We are going to sit here and nap, play video games, and eat our colds away. Sound about right?"

"Sounds wonderful."

"You bitch! You totally looked at my screen!" Camila's voice echoed throughout the empty house as her player was shot dead from behind her.

After eating more than half of the snacks Camila and Lauren had, they retreated to the younger girl's counsel to play video games. The older Cuban brought Black Ops l, ll, and Advanced Warfare. Right now the girl's are on Black Ops ll. They're playing slip-screen, hence why Camila is accusing Lauren of cheating.

"Not even! Its not my fault I'm better than you. Have you ever just thought that maybe you suck?"

"Rude! Maybe I'm not as good as you, but you're still cheating! There's no way you would've known I was there if you weren't looking at my screen." Camila argued as she ran around a car and shot the other girl. "Ha! Take that. I only need two more kills to be tied with you."

"You won't beat me, Cabello. I'm confident enough to know that much. I only need one more kill to win, and I'm about to get that kill right now once I find you."

"To hell you will!" With that, Camila jumped onto Lauren's lap, inevitably blocking the girl's view. "Suck it!" She yelled as she killed her, making it only one kill away from tying with Lauren and two more to win.

"What the hell! That's so unfair!" Lauren paused the game to remove Camila off of her lap and back into the vacant seat next to her on the couch. When the older girl looked back at the screen, she could see Camila's player in the distance. She reached for her controller to start the game when the younger Cuban intercepted her arm.

"But Lo, a silly little game isn't important. I think you're a little too invested in this." She leaned over until Lauren's back was to the couch with her on top of her. Besides, I think we aren't taking advantage of the fact that we're both sick and can't do anything that requires maximum effort. Don't you agree?"

Camila got closer and closer until her body was flat against the older girl and their foreheads were connected. Lauren's breathing became staggered at how close the other girl was to her, and she was kind of trapped underneath her so there was no escaping.

"Uh, I guess you could say that." They sat there silently staring each other deep in the eye. Lauren found herself slightly leaning up, but just when their lips were about to connect, Camila jumped and grabbed her controller. She unpaused the game and killed Lauren's player. "What the fuck, Camz!"

"Now we're tied! Prepare to lose!"

Lauren quickly grabbed her controller and sat back up on the couch. She ran across the map where she last died and kept an eye out for Camila's soldier. She spotted the girl in front of her and shot her, ultimately killing the player.

Lauren shot up from the couch with her arms in the air. "Oh well would you look at that! Guess who won without cheating? Me! Suck it!"

Camila threw her controller on the couch with a pout on her face. "Bullshit. This game is stupid anyway. Can we do something else?"

"We can do whatever your sick heart desires."

"Anything I want?" Camila's lips tilted slightly to form the smallest smirk. She had a few things in mind, but didn't want to vocalize said thoughts. Its far too early to them anyway.

"Okay, you gotta stop with the teasing. I can only take so much in one day and I'm already physically impaired. This cold is taking a toll on me." Lauren dramatically placed her hand over her heart and fell backwards into the couch. She was obviously exaggerating, but she definitely wasn't lying. The younger girl could give her a heart attack at the age of twenty-five by just breathing near her.

Camila threw her head back while a crack of laugher filled the room. "You make me sick." She giggled through her laughter.

"Well, if we're being technical, I really did make you sick. But it was your fault for kissing me."

"And I definitely don't regret it." Camila leaned her head on the back of the couch and turned to glance at the other girl to find that Lauren was already looking at her.

"Don't you think we should.. I don't know, talk about it?"

"The kiss?"

Lauren rolled her eyes and nodded. "Yes, the kiss."

"I don't think theres much to talk about. I kissed you, and you kissed me back. That's it." That was a lie and both of them know it. "But, you should know that I like you. And not just in a friendly way, but more." Camila reached over and grabbed Lauren's hand to intertwine their fingers.

"I like you too, Camz."

And with that, they kissed again. And they both mentally agreed it was just as magical as the first.
