A month later (sorry lol you'll thank me later I think)

"Okay, I need milk, eggs, cereal, bagels, and water," Lauren told herself as she entered the grocery store. She knew that those were the essentials, but that didn't stop her from buying other random things. That's what she gets for going to the store on an empty stomach.

Once she grabbed the necessary items (and the not-so-necessary items), she made her way to the front of the store towards the checkout lines. As she waited in line, something on the shelf next to her caught her eye. Lauren wasn't too big on magazines. She loved reading, but most of the stuff in them just weren't interesting to her. A display of magazines were offered for anyone to buy, but one in particular got her attention.

"Karla Camila Cabello- the new face of Seventeen," The magazine read.

"Well I'll be damned."

Lauren put her groceries away in their designated spots and took a deep breath. She hadn't wrapped her head around the situation still. Of course she bought the magazine, but she just couldn't believe Camila was a model on top of all of this. I mean, she sorta believed it. Have you seen the Latina? She was made to be one, but that's besides the point.

What else was she hiding from Lauren? More importantly, why is a model working at Pizza Hut? She just had too many questions that haven't been answered yet. So why not go to the source for the answers?

Lauren grabbed the magazine from the counter, walked out of her door, and through the yard to Camila's front door. The younger girl's car was in the driveway so she knew she was home. She was greeted with a smile and a friendly hug.

"Hey, what's up?" Camila asked politely as she opened the door for the other girl to enter.

"Hey, um, I just have a question for you."

"Oh, alright. Ask away then."

Lauren handed the paper to the girl and crossed her arms over her chest. "What's that?" She watched as Camila's face slightly dropped, consequently changing her entire demeanor.

"It's a- its's a magazine. And my face may or may not be on it. Look, Lauren I was-"

"Going to tell me? When Camila? God, I'm not even mad at you. I just- I feel like I don't even know who you are. It makes more sense now. Not that you're unattractive or anything because clearly you are, but I never understood how you were dating a celebrity when you're a pizza delivery girl. It just didn't make any sense at all, but now things are adding up."

"Actually, I'm not a pizza delivery girl..." Camila trailed off as her gaze fell to her feet.

"What?"

"I don't work for Pizza Hut. My friend, not Dinah, was working that night but she recently lost a family member. So me being me, I took the last few of her deliveries. My friend also owns the shop so it wasn't too big of a deal. Then I've been taking the last of her shifts so she could so take care of her aunt, since she just lost her husband and all."

"Wait, so you're a full-time model?" Lauren was lost all over again. Maybe she really didn't know this girl at all. Its only been close to a month, so she wasn't expecting Camila to just open up to her like it was the easiest thing in the world. But to be a model and not even know? How come she never saw anything of her on anything until now?

"Yes and no. Dinah is my manager, so she does the talking and I get pictures taken of me. This magazine was the first major one I've done. The others have been little known companies. Ashley was the one who made me partially relevant, unfortunately. At the end of the day, I have her to thank. That's why she still bothers me all the time."
