Chapter 13...This Means War

(Dawson's P.O.V.)

I drove a nine hour drive in seven. You could say I was speeding just a little bit. When I got to the airport I was surprised to find my parents as well as Matthew and Owen.

"Dawson you look exhausted!" My mother cried.

"Olivia, let the boy relax I bet his nerves are shot," Dad ordered. I would have to thank him later because I just couldn't deal with her babying right now.

"Grandma!" Hudson and Shane yelled running up to her.

"How are my big boys? Did you enjoy your trip?" She asked them.

"It was so much fun Grandma," Hudson replied.

"Yeah I got this," Shane stated holding his stuffed Simba.

"Awe he's so cute and little," Mother stated smiling. "Speaking of little where's Ross?"

"Right here Mother," Damien stated holding his carrier up where she could see. He had Sadie on his hip. "Anything else before you have a fit?"

"Drop the attitude Damien," Mother ordered. Damien just smirked.

We decided it best that we rent a cabin where we all could stay together. Matthew went ahead and checked to see if Andrew had rented any of the cabins.

As I helped settle in the kids, Matthew returned. I was anxious, I didn't want to just be sitting around. I wanted to be out there looking for that bastard.

"Well what's the news? Anything?" I asked frantically. I knew I sounded like a mad man, but damn it I had a reason!

"No one has rented a cabin, but someone did buy one. I asked for the name saying I was hoping to visit a friend, and he told me that know no one named Andrew Reynolds was in the park," Matthew sighed pinching the bridge of his noise. "But when he went on break I snuck into his office. The guy that bought the cabin paid with cash, and it's cabin at the very top of the mountain."

"Okay what was the guys name who bought the cabin?" I asked.

"Dawson, Conn, is the name on the receipt," Matthew stated.

"That bastard," I shouted hitting the wall. Which I very soon regretted. "Well at least we know he's here."

"Yeah so let's get a plan in motion," Matthew ordered.

Then Owen, Matthew, Damien, and I devised a plan.

(Danielle's P.O.V.)

I woke up to the sound of a twig breaking. I was so tired that I hadn't even realized that I fell asleep. I looked down from my tree trying not to make a sound. I was just a bunny rabbit. A sweet little bunny rabbit. Then there was a gun shot.

That sweet little bunny rabbit was no more. It was laying on it's side with it's eyes wide open.

"Dani, I know you're out there," he stated. The voice made me want to cry. Why did he have to always be in my life? "Come on out baby, I wouldn't want anything to happen to you."

That's a fat ass lie.

"Baby I forgive you for shooting me in the foot, luckily it only scraped the side," he chuckled.

I knew he was under my tree. I stayed perfectly still up against the trunk. I could feel my heart beating against my chest. It was beating so fast I was afraid it was making to much noise.

Andrew finally left, and I took a big deep breath. This is not what I call a vacation. I felt like one of those dumb cats on the farm that used to get stuck up in a tree. I understand now how they ended up in the tree. Now how did I get down from here?
