Seven

Toni went out of the Pembrook after eating breakfast and went home. She saw Sweet Pea outside her trailer, holding a letter.

"Man, where have you been?" Sweet Pea said to Toni.

"Don't talk to me, I'm still mad at you for leaving me behind last night" Toni said and unlocked the door of her trailer and went in.

"Come on, I was with Jossie last night. You know how much I love her" Sweet Pea said and Toni smirked.

"What happened to 'no serpents left behind' huh?" Toni said and Sweet Pea wrap his arms around Toni's shoulders.

"I'm sorry, Shorty. Let me make it up to you. How about, tequila shots at the Wyrm? My treat" Sweet Pea said while crossing his arms.

"Alright then. Let me just take a bath" Toni said and signalling Sweet Pea to go out of the room.

"By the way, here's another letter for you.   Damn, Stop rejecting your secret admirer Topaz. This T.R.G has been sending you letters since then" Sweet Pea said.

"Just put it in the table please and wait for me outside" Toni said and Sweet Pea did put it in the dining table and went out to wait for Toni to get ready.

After an hour, Toni and Sweet Pea went to Whyte Wyrm to have some tequila shots. They parked their bikes outside the Wyrm and Archie suddenly appeared to the scene.

"Toni" Archie said and Toni immediately saw him. Toni signalled Sweet Pea to go inside.

"Arch, what are you doing here?" Toni asked and walked towards Archie.

"I heard that you kissed Veronica after the party last night. Is that true?" Archie asked Toni.

"I was so drunk and I thought she's Cheryl for a second and kissed her. That's what happened and I'm sorry 'bout that" Toni said.

"It's cool, She broke up with me anyway. She said that she can't pretend to be normal anymore. She want to be more open to other people and to herself and I respect that. I came here to ask you if you can take care of Veronica for me. I know that you're the only one who can understand her situation right now" Archie said and Toni rubber his shoulder to comfort him.

"I'm so sorry about that and I promise to take care of her for you" Toni said and Archie smiled at her and walked away. After that, Toni went inside the Wyrm and immediately went to Sweet Pea's table to start the shot.

"What was that about?" Sweet Pea asked Toni.

"Nothing, let's start" Toni said and drink. After a couple of shots, Jughead arrived and joined them.

"It's a miracle that you're alone now. Where's your serpent queen?" Sweet Pea asked Jughead.

"Betty is with Veronica right now. They're at Pop's and they have their so called 'girls talk'."Jughead said and took the next shot.

"Hey, Cheryl!" Sweet Pea shouted and Toni pinched his arm.

"Stop teasing me, Pea. Seriously. You know that I get mini heart attacks when that happens" Toni said and took a shot.

"Sorry Topaz" Sweet Pea said pointing at the right side of Toni. Toni tilted her head and found a redhead girl wearing a red serpent jacket, smiling at them.

"Che-cheryl! Hi!" Toni said awkwardly and waved her hand.

"Hey Toni, Sweet Pea thank you for inviting me. I'm really craving for this" Cheryl said sat between Toni and Sweet Pea. Cheryl drank two full shots to keep up with what they have started.

"So, Cheryl. How are you now?" Jughead started a topic.

"I'm doing great now, thank you for asking hobo. I missed the serpents and the Wyrm, It's really good to be back" Cheryl said and smiled at Jughead while Toni and Sweet Pea were just listening to their conversation.

"Did you missed Toni?" Sweet Pea said, Jughead hit his arm and Toni glared at him like she's gonna kill him.

"It's okay, Of course I did" Cheryl said, smiling at Toni and she smiled back awkwardly.

"Good, she missed you too, so much" Sweet Pea said teasing Toni and she glared at him again.

"Why are you here? You're supposed to be with Betty and Veronica at Pop's" Jughead asked.

"My god hobo, the level of your deafness is out of this world. I said Sweet Pea invited me that's why i'm here. Besides, I kinda knew their agenda there so... nope" Cheryl said and glanced at Toni for a second and took a shot. They're just having fun, Sweet Pea suddenly stopped taking shots because he realized something...

*Sweet Pea's Thoughts*

I've been thinking about those letters that was sent to Toni from a girl.

T.R.G?

If my theory is right, the meaning of those initials are The Redhead Girl? Because it's Cheryl?

Wait, is it Red space Head? or combined?

Damn it, I wish my brain was like Jughead's! Anyways... Who's the only redhead in this town that is related to Toni? Cheryl!

Sweet Pea, buddy, you're a genius!

*end*

"Uh, Jughead can I talk to you for a sec?" Sweet Pea said, he stood up and dragged Jughead with him. They went upstairs and sat on the couch.

"Dude, what the hell is happening to you" Jughead said, clueless.

"Toni's letters, the initials, it makes more sense now" Sweet Pea said.

"What? You're acting crazy because of someone else's letters? And why do you read her letters anyway? It's her privacy!" Jughead said still confused.

"Dude no, just the back of those envelopes. They're from the same person, her initials are T.R.G" Sweet Pea said.

"T.R.G, like Tiffany Rose Gonzales?" Jughead said and Sweet Pea laughed.

"Where the hell did that come from? It's 'The Redhead Girl', and my theory said that it's Cheryl. She's been writing letters for Toni since they broke up. I'm more genius than you now" Sweet Pea said and crossed his arms.

"I mean, I did solved the mystery of Jason Blossom's murder? Black hood? G&G?" Jughead said and stood up.

"Will you just be proud of me for once, man" Sweet Pea said and stood up.

They went downstairs and went back to their table. They found Cheryl drunk and sleeping at Toni's shoulders while Toni is still taking tequila shots. Sweet Pea and Jughead smirked.

"Where have you guys been?" Toni said quietly because she don't want to wake Cheryl up.

"We, uh, Toni, we have to bounce, see you at school tomorrow" Jughead said while smiling at Toni.

"He-" Toni hasn't finished her sentence yet when Jughead stood up and dragged Sweet Pea out of the Wyrm. They left Toni and Cheryl behind.

Toni was just staring at Sweet Pea and Jughead walk out of the Wyrm then she suddenly felt arms around her waist and belly. It was Cheryl, trying to cuddle while they're sitting at a couch. Toni then wrapped her arm around Cheryl's shoulders. They stayed that way for 30 minutes until Toni's arms felt tired and numb because of Cheryl's head.

"Hey, are you still dizzy?" Toni whispered. Cheryl tilted her head a little and found that she fell asleep on Toni's shoulders. Cheryl immediately pull away.

"Sorry, did I fell asleep?" Cheryl said, feeling embarrassed but still drunk.

"Yes but you don't have to apologize. Let me give you a ride home, you're still drunk" Toni said assisting Cheryl to stand up and they went out of the Wyrm. They walked towards the motorbike and Toni gave her helmet to Cheryl. They went on the motorbike.

"Hang on" Toni said and putting Cheryl's arms  around her waist and before going, Cheryl whispered one last word.

"Always"

Toni froze for a minute and started the engine and took off.
