Eleven

A week later...

Sweet Pea and Fangs just got home from a road trip with the other serpents and immediately went to Toni's trailer to catch up. Sweet Pea opened the mailbox and saw an untouched letter that arrived days ago. He looked at the back of the envelope and it was from the same girl, T.R.G

Toni went out of her trailer and was surprised to see the two outside.

"Hey boys! I missed you two so much! Where have you been?" Toni said and came towards the two and hugged them both.

"We had a road trip with the other serpents" Fangs said and they pulled back from the hug.

"Without me? How dare you" Toni said and slapped Fangs' arm.

"We wanted to infrom you and invite you to join us but you are so busy with your new girl Veronica who doesn't even want you to go near us and the Wyrm anymore. Not even your motorbike" Fangs said.

"I'm sorry okay?" Toni said and crossed her arms. Sweet Pea suddenly handed Toni a letter that he got from the mailbox.

"Another letter and i think it's the last one. Have you read any of the letters that this girl gave you since the beginning?" Sweet Pea said and crossed his arms after Toni got the letter.

"No. I'm kinda lazy at reading letters and i don't even know this girl whoever she is" Toni said and was about to throw the letter into the trashcan but Sweet Pea stopped her.

"JUST PLEASE READ THAT LAST LETTER FROM HER. PLEASE" Sweet Pea said and Toni stared at him for a second.

"Okay okay. You don't have to be mad" Toni said and opened the envelope. She read the letter and suddenly her heartbeat became faster until she read the last paragraph of the letter.

"Please remember that I love you. I'll always love you, even when you don't love me back. Even when you find someone else. Even when you speak to me with nothing but hate and spite. She already knew who wrote the letter.

She started to cry, her legs felt weak and sat down the stairs in front of her trailer's main door. Sweet Pea immediately went inside her trailer to search for the other letters that Cheryl wrote for her and Fangs have no clue on what's happening at the moment. After a minute, Sweet Pea went out, got only one letter on his hand. He got it at the same place where he left it, untouched.

"You're so cruel, Toni" Sweet Pea said and handed Toni the letter that he got from the table.

Toni read the other letter and made her cry more. Her heart stopped at the last paragraphs of the letter...

"I hope you're well. I hope you're living life the way you wanted to, and have gained enough perspective to know, as I know, that something doesn't have to last forever to have value.

I know that it's hard to believe, because I spent so much time blaming you for things that you never did. Yes, you heard me right, Heather isn't dead but I guess this news is too late for us now. I know you're happy now with Veronica, just know that I'm happy for the both of you.

"So she did told me about Heather through this letter. I'm just too stupid not to know that. You're right Pea, i am cruel" Toni said, feeling angry at herself. After that, they went silent for 10 minutes and then Toni stood up.
