The next day and romis house I was in for quite a shock. We were watching a film, but romi needed "world war z" which was in her sisters room next door. She asked me to go get it, but to just walk in as her sister was out. I nodded and it was fine when I walked in untill I heard soft snoring and I panicked. Crap her sister was here- but it got worse, I looked over and ray was asleep, and she looked fucking adorable. Her hair was messy and I was too busy cooing at how cute she looked that when she opened her eyes I didn't realize (somehow) and when she cleared her throat I jumped. At first she sat up and gave me a cold look for being in her bedroom, but then She groaned sleepily, rubbing her eyes and glaring at the light, before flopping back down and mumbling "turn the light of nay." her room was sky blue with band posters like greenday avenged sevenfold and all time low were pined to the walls, along with photos of her and rosie, and some drawings which were amazing. I was slightly shocked that she didn't even question why I was in her room while she was sleeping- but then why was she asleep at this time anyway. Sigh.

I grabbed the dvd off of the shelf and scurried out hoping she was half asleep and that when she woke she would think she was dreaming. Apparently not, as twenty minutes into the film she shuffled into romis room in a vest top and baggy sweatpants, (not to mention the fluffy slippers)and slumped down on the floor next to me with a huff, grabbing a handful of popcorn, without a word. I realized I had been staring too late, as she turned to me frowning. I mentally facepalmed, feeling my cheeks heat, but she just shook her head with a grin, putting her arm around my waist and pulling me closer to her. I smiled and looked at jehanne who mouthed "aw you guys are adorable". After the film finished, she leaned in and said quiet enough that only I could hear, but louder then a whisper "so.. Why were you in my room, huh?" If I didn't know her sense of humour I'd think she was mad "I needed to get the dvd" "yeah yeah, whatever. You just can't resist me. Excuses eh." I scowled and she just smiled, poking me.

Skye and jehanne had been texting during the film and I was just waiting for them to become a couple. Jehanne doesn't like labeling it though, which is understandable, but still, it's obvious they're a thing. Romi went to get snacks and ray went outside for a fag. "soo." I pulled a face "how's you and skye?" "eh we're good, but I dunno we're just not putting a label on it just yet." I nodded. "so, have you asked ray about the party tommorow?" "crap! No I forgot. I'll go ask her now."

I walked outside and she was leaning against the fence, one hand in her pocket and one holding her fag. I love the way how she'll casually stand out side with fluffy slippers on. She winked as I got closer and wrapped her arms round me in a tight hug, hiding her head in the crook of my neck. "you smell nice." she giggled. "yay. Anyways I was wondering, do you want to come to a party at jehannes tommorow with me?" "ok." wow. Well that was easier then I expected. "I really like you nala." "I like you too." "hmf. I mean I think I like you as more then a friend. But I'm not quite sure. Plus I need to talk to rosie properly before I decide on anything." "mm". "sorry, that was awkward. Forget I said anything." she walked inside before I could say anything, throwing her fag and stepping on it.

I went back inside and they were all sat on the floor eating spicy doritos. I grabbed a handful "what film are we watching?" "hangover two" romi said grabbing more Doritos from the bowl. I caught jehannes eye and she made a point of casting a curious look to ray "so can she come tommorow?" she mouthed while the others put the film on. I nodded. "I think she likes you. Seriously." jehanne mouthed. I shrugged, looking over at Ray who was oblivious to our conversation. "I don't know. Maybe." "guys are you gonna watch the film or stare at me the whole time? I mean I know I'm hot but no need to stare you see my face everyday." Ray said smirking, running a hand through her hair.

Throughout the second film I felt my eyelids getting heavy and decided I should go home before I fall asleep on ray. I looked up sleepily and she was laughing "if you're too tired to stay, just say so it's fine." "I'll see you tommorow guys." I said with a yawn, the time had gone really quickly and it was getting late. I hugged them all good bye and grabbed my bag, but when I walked downstairs Ray followed. "it's kind of late how ya getting home?" "my house is only down the road." "yeah well it's dark, I'll walk with you." she said "you sure?" "yup."

When we got outside it was freezing and my hands felt numb, even when I had my hands in my pockets. "you cold?" "no." she rolled her eyes, I knew it was obvious I was cold as I was shivering. "well sorry but no bergundy jacket today." she said with a wink. We came to the town centre and the big Christmas tree had been put up, despite the fact that it was the beggining of November. The lights weren't on yet but it was still beutiful, and as a huge gust of wind blew, tiny decorative bells hanging on the branches began to twinkle. "it looks nice. Can't believe it's almost Christmas." she sighed, holding my hand to "warm me up" as she put it, with a sly wink. "so uh where's the party?" she asked looking at me and tilting her head to the side slightly. "jehannes house. I- do you have your phone on you?" she pulled out her phone I typed in "peaches" which weirdly was her password, and clicked on her memo pad, typing in jehannes adress. "there, that's the address." "hm ok what time does it start and finish?" "it starts at eight and finishes at roughly midnight, but you can leave before then if you want." "ok. I could be a bit late. I sing in the "once in a lifetime" inn on fridays. Not for money, just for fun, y'know?" I nodded, smiling, looking down at our clasped hands. She noticed and let out a shaky breath, running a hand through her fringe wearily. "I think I'm falling for you. I know I said earlier.. But I'm trying to be honest. I like you and I try to be a loyal girlfriend, but I thinks it's best to end things with rosie. She's my best friend and I need to be honest." I nodded understandingly, squeezing her hang gently, in a reassuring way. "I understand, take time to think it through, to make sure that this is the right decision, I don't want you to mess up what you have with her. I could be selfish and think of what I want, but it's not worth it if you're going to regret it later on." she nodded, looking thoughtful. "welll thanks for understanding." she let go of my hand "c'mon it's late and we've got school tommorow.." she mumbled, and I wasn't sure if she was being serious. I got up and we walked the last five minutes to my house. "I'll see you tommorow. Bye." she hugged me quickly before opening her mouth to say something and then sighing "doesn't matter. Bye." and then she was. I smiled as she walked away, she walked in a kind of strut, and by the time she'd turned the corner shed already ran a hand through her hair twice. I shook my head, smiling at her cute habbit. I pulled out my house keys only to find the door was unlocked- of course mums home at this time, duh.

I explained that I'd lost track of the time, then I headed upstairs. I flopped down on my bed dramatically. I looked over at the clock and it was only ten thirty. I stared at the ceiling in deep thought until I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I had a text from jehanne "you ok? When you left you looked upset?" I quickly typed back "I'm good thanks. Na just tired haha." I put my phone on my bedside table and got my book, and began reading the eighth chapter of "a little princesss"

It sounds childish, which is why it's understandable that my mum bought it for me when I was nine, unaware that it was quite a advanced book. I finnally decided to start reading it a week ago and I found it so intriguing that I've already read eight chapters. Though I know what happens throughout the book as I decided to read the last few chapters out of intrest.

The book is one of the most "sit in the edge of your seat" kind of books I've ever read. It's about a girl called sarah who is very advanced and intelligent for her age, And speaks very old fashioned and formal, and her dad spoils her which everything she could ever want.

Her dad has to send her to a small boarding school temporaryily while he goes to fight in the war. She's treated like a princess there, until- I don't want to ruin it if you haven't read it- but she gets some bad news and everything changes for the worse, untill right at the end she sees her dad again. It's sad for the majority of it, but it's great.

I read for about half an hour when I got yet another text. This time it wasn't from jehanne, but ray. "goodnight angel, sweet dreams beanie buddy ;) xx" I actually had to stop myself from laughing out loud, it sounded nothing like her- except the end- it was so cheesy and at that moment I was glad I was alone because I was almost certain I was blushing. I texted back "night hun xx" before turning the light off and sighing happily to myself, my eyelids flickering shut as I slowly drifted of to sleep, thinking of a certain girl.
