Chapter 8

I sat upright my back resting against the headboard, when I got the final kick

from Maysa which sent flying off the bed ending on the ground with my hand to

nurse my back, the sooner the sun shines I was going to have a separate bed from hers

in spite of her not telling me that she was coming a week early I had to admit that I

was joyous.

Slowly standing I made my way to the bathroom without kicking her back since I

got used to sleeping with her, I splashed water on my face, it was still early to pray

Fajr, nevertheless I brushed my teeth did my ablution and prayed two raka's .

Tiptoeing through the hall I made my way to the kitchen to have some suhur since I

was fasting today. After leaving my room fully dressed with my bag my intention

nothing but have some peace full review of my anecdote with myself. Quickly I

grabbed the key from the hanger creaking the door open then stepped out. It was just

a year I told myself every now and then I didn't bother myself of thinking who or

what I was going to meet during my staying here, just a year, twelve months, fifty-two

weeks ,yup that's all..

Turning off the engine I hopped off the bike, I really wasn't planning on driving my

way up the mountain's base, my feet growing heavy with each step sooner or later I

have to tell someone about everything I couldn't just keep isolated from everyone no

matter how sociable I was or am, I had to let everything go smooth, this was definitely

not the time to waver.

One turn and I would be at sight of the peach tree, well practically not since

the sky was navy blue and the lines of dawns were starting to appear all I had to do is

be brave enough to walk along the road were my brother died, how simple it seems

yet heart breaking, I have been trying everyday so far, come here look around the

corner then go back home , same thing the next day, I love you Jamal although

someone like me who just let you die does not deserve to say so.

"Ya Allah have mercy upon all the dead and those who are alive from the Muslims.."

I murmured silently, clearly I have missed running around here, tripping here and

there, getting jealous from Jamal. No matter how bad Jabir was or how innocent

Jamal was I would still love thim till life of hereafter.

The sun was gradually making it's way over the horizon, blessing us with it's bright

light, I dropped my bag, dropping on my knees hugging the aging tree from it's tree.

I turned around at the sound of a cracking twig and wished that I didn't...

"Milah? Is that you?"the guy said, taking murderously steps towards me, reaching for

my bag and throwing it over my shoulder I raised my hand in front of me
