The mountains outside of the car fly past me. I watch the man closely. He wears sunglasses over his eyes so I don't have any clue what his flame color may be.
His large wings make it hard for him to fit in the car. Occasionally he will sigh and fix them while he waits for the light to turn. He pulls of of the highway and onto a smaller road. Nobody passes by the car for a few minutes and I get worried.
Where the hell is this guy taking me? I can't help but wish that Will was here to help me. I feel the ropes tighten around my wrists and midsection. I look up and see the man smirking. I glare at him and try not to think about my stinging wrists.
He pulls up to a gas station and gets out. He walks into the building leaving me in the car. The ropes still hold me down as I try to figure out a way to get out of the car.
I struggle against them which only makes them tighten. I sigh and look around the car for anything useful. A lighter sits on the seat beside me and I wiggle my way over to it.
I manage to grab it with my teeth. I move it around in my mouth for a moment, putting it into a position as to where I wouldn't burn myself. I bite down on the button and a small flame erupts.
I lean down and bring the flame to the ropes. They don't catch on fire however. I frown slightly and try again but the fire just wont take. I sigh and spit the lighter out of my mouth.
The man walks out of the gas station with a couple of bags in his hands. He opens the passenger door and throws them onto the seat next to me. He closes it soon after, leaving me no time to try to escape.
He walks to the pump and fills up the car. His wings are hidden under the jacket he had put on before he went into the gas station. The light wind ruffles his hair and he has to keep pushing it out of his face.
He looks into the car and smirks at my tangled form. He tightens the ropes and I wince in pain. He takes the nozzle out and walks back to the car. He gets in and drives off.
We sit in silence for a while, him not having the kindness to turn on the radio for any music. We pass through a few populated places, most of them a smaller size but a couple of are larger cities.
"Why were you trying to burn the ropes?" He asks me out of nowhere. I scoff and glare at him. He looks at me expectantly.
"Stop acting like you don't know. You kidnapped me! I'm trying to get away from you," I yell exasperated. His demeanor quickly changes. He whips his head back to the road.
I sigh and lean my head back against the seat. He stops suddenly and I fall to the ground. He laughs at my misfortune and then drives off again, not even bothering to get me off of the ground.
I stare up at the black ceiling of the car. Blood stains are barely visible but they're still there. I freeze up slightly. What is this guy going to do to me? I move closer to the seat and lay there.
I sit up against the other door and look out the adjacent window. Cars pass by occasionally but nobody in them even spares a glance my way. He drives past mountains and into a city.
Suddenly the sound of a police siren goes off. I jump slightly and look out the window. The man seems to panic for a moment before taking the ropes away from me.
"Sit down in the seat and don't move. Don't try and ask for help," he snarls at me. I nod and buckle myself into the seat. He pulls over to the side of the road and waits for the officer to get out of their vehicle.
He looks around the car quickly. He hides a couple of weapons and the lighter I tried to use earlier. The ropes hide them in a hidden compartment in the car. Once hidden he looks around again and sees the bags and thinks for a second.
The man quickly snaps his fingers and ropes take some food out of one of the bags and sprawls it on the ground. They knock the bag over and make a mess in the back. I look at him confused but he just smiles at me.
The officer walks up to the car, completely oblivious to what just happened, and motions for the man to roll down his window. The man rolls down all the windows and hands the officer his license. They smile and take the license.
"Do you know why I pulled you over Tucker?" They ask the man. He shakes his head no and the police officer sighs.
"Well. When we were scanning your car there was a body on the floor," they explain carefully. Tucker laughs.
"Oh that was my friend in the back. One of the bags of food had fallen to the floor and he went to grab it but his seat belt wasn't in tight enough and he fell," Tucker says on the spot. The officer nods at his story.
"Okay. Next time, wait until he's stopped before you try and grab anything," the police officer says to me. I nod and they go back to Tucker. They hand him his license and walk back to their car.
Tucker waits until they drive off and then the ropes tie me up again. He starts the car and gets back onto the highway. The other ropes get the food and put it back in the bag. They put the seat belt over the bag and recoil back to Tucker.
Tucker smirks back at me and I glare at him. I should've taken the chance and told the police officer. Then suddenly a sharp pain erupts on my head and I pass out.
