Tom's POV

"Dude, you should of stayed at the party! Kacey got so drunk! She was all over me! It was awesome!" Jacob was screaming into the phone.

"Yea, great. The girl you like was all over you, but only because she was totally wasted. Good job." I felt bad using sarcasm. He really likes this girl, but he need to just tell her. It is so obvious that he likes her.

"I'm sorry. I know that it is wimpy that I am so attached to her. I can't tell her." He knew what I was thinking.

"Yes, you can. I see it in her, that she likes you too. Whenever she is drunk, she somehow always ends up making out with you or clinging on to you. Just try asking her out. The worst that could happen is that she says no." I been through this talk with him so many times. He says he is going to do it then wimps out.

"So," he's going off topic, " How are you and Alyssa?"

"I think we are getting along great!" I grin. I am so happy that she likes me and we are working out! I sound so damn girlish. I need to stop that.

"I'm happy for you. She's great for you." Jacob said.

I still feel so bad for him. He deserves someone great.

"Thanks, I got to go. I'm taking a jog. Bye."

"Bye." Jacob says and I hang up.

I put my shoes on and grab a light jacket because it is chilly out.

I start jogging to the school, when I see a group of students standing around at a park. I got distracted from all of them having fun.

"Ouch!" Me and this dude say at the same time.

"Hey, I'm sorry, I got distracted." I apologize for bumping into him.

"Fuck off." He jogs away.

He's a jerk.
