The Balance and The Force {Star Wars Ep. X}

Anni held her hand out to try and use the force to stop the blaster shots. Suddenly, someone yelled out to not fire.

Anni opened her eyes and kept leaning against her father for support. The fighters stared at the two of them in shock. Ryder stepped out and stood in front of the two of them.

"He's good... We promise. He just... He came back from the dead... Kinda?" Ryder obviously didn't understand much of what happened.

Everyone went quiet for a second. There was loud running footsteps coming towards the group. Suddenly, Rey popped out in between Finn and Poe.

Anni watched her mother's expression go from upset, to shocked, into joyous. She could see her mother's eyes light up as she saw Ben again.

Ryder walked over and helped Anni sit down against some storage crates. Helping her stay calm.

Ben stepped forwards just as Rey did. They were both astonished. Neither of them thought this day would come. That they would finally meet again.

Suddenly, Rey moved forwards and initiated the kiss between the two. Ben smiled into the kiss as he gently placed a hand against her cheek. They were holding onto each other. They were almost afraid that one of them would disappear if one of them let go.

Anni winced, she was in a lot of pain. She looked around to see some medics had come over to bring her inside. Ryder helped as well.

Rey let go of the kiss and saw that her daughter was being taken inside. She gave Ben a worried look before pushing against his chest to turn around and walk to the stretcher quickly.

Ben followed behind as the rest of the resistance sat in awe. The person they believed to be Kylo Ren was alive, and wasn't dangerous. They knew and heard he had become Ben Solo from Rey, but they didn't really believe that. Not after everything that happened.

The medics laid Anni down on a table and started to check her pulse. They were making sure she was okay.

Ryder stayed right by her side. He seemed to be extremely worried for her health.

Ben stopped Rey from going into the room. "I need to tell you what happened."

Rey shook her head. "Not right now. My daughter is h-" she began.

Ben gave her a look. He gently grabbed her arm. "Our daughter is hurt." He said, correcting her in a gentle tone. "I know. But, she will be okay. She just needs to rest."

Rey looked at him worried as they stood in the hallway. Her eyes were sad. "How... How are you here?"

Ben gave out a soft sigh before looking around at the people walking down the halls. He turned his attention back to her. "The two of them used that necklace, it was a Skywalker pendant once owned by my grandmother Padme." He began.

"It was a sith ritual, using an item someone was once attached to in order to bring them back. Though, it must be at the place they died. Anni was used as a sort of... Energy source so Kai would end up fine. Anni had no clue what she was doing. She was just trying to prove a point to him." Ben said and watched Rey's face fall.

"I tried Ben, I tried to teach them of the force and the Jedi. I never wanted to talk about the sith. I never wanted to face the fact that they're both decendants of the two most powerful Sith... I couldn't do it." She shook her head and looked down at their hands. Rey was gripping his hands tight. "Now, look at them. Anni doesn't know how to deal with all this and our son is being pulled to the dark. I should have told them everything but I kept so much from them."

"Rey," he said softly and cupped her cheek. He wiped away one of the tears falling down her cheek. He was so gentle. "It's okay. I know why he's doing this... I know the person who has taught him all of this."
