Scorpius sat at his desk. He had taken the picture of Albus off his wall and was staring at it. God, he missed Albus. It had only been a day and Scorpius couldn't stop thinking about him. He missed his touch, his hair, his eyes and god that smile. What was he going to do? He was in love; he couldn't not admit it. Moving his fingers to touch the photo, he traced the shape of Albus' face. Grabbing out his sketch book, Scorpius reached into his pocket to reach for Albus' pen but instead pulled out a small slip of paper. He opened it, remembering what it was, after a few moments of confusion. Polly. How could he have forgotten about her. Mentally, he slapped himself, pulling his phone out and typing in her number.

NEW MESSAGE CREATED

Scorpius: Is this Polly?

Polly: Yeah?

            Who's this?

Scorpius: Scorpius.

Polly: took you long enough.

Scorpius: I know, sorry. I didn't feel well when I got home and fell                              asleep. Can we reschedule to another day?

Polly: Fine.

I can't tmr though so Wednesday?

Scorpius: Works with me.

Scorpius sighed. He'd just lied to Polly Chapman, the queen of the school. He hadn't fallen asleep; he had been staring at a picture of Albus for however long it had been. He would never tell her though. Why would he? Scorpius heard the front door unlock and then close again.

"Scorpius? I'm home!" Scorpius heard his father call out to him. "I bought us some dinner!"

"Coming dad." Scorpius yelled back.

He looked at the picture of Albus before looking at the diary that he had taken out of his bag and placed neatly on his desk. Albus, I miss Albus. He left the picture on his desk and made his way downstairs for dinner.

"Evening Scorpius." Draco said, placing two plates and some cutlery on the table. "I had to get McDonalds, if that's alright."

"It's fine dad."

"I didn't know what you like so I got you something random, sorry."

"Thanks dad."

The two sat down to eat, both a little silent. Draco looked at his son.

"Did Albus come over this afternoon?" He asked. Scorpius' heart sank, feeling his stomach turn, he looked down at his food.

"He didn't." Scorpius mumbled, pushing his food around on his plate with a fork.

"Is something the matter Scorpius?" Draco asked with growing concern.

"He won't talk to me dad, I don't what I did wrong, he just won't." Scorpius yelled in frustration, letting his fork fall to the floor. He didn't want to be angry, how could he ever be angry at Albus? Maybe he was just angry at himself.

"When did this happen?" Draco asked.

"Yesterday, while he was over." Scorpius said before pausing. "He kissed me, dad."

Draco took a deep long breath and sighed. "Scorpius,"

"But dad, I kissed him back!"

Draco had been suspecting that Scorpius liked Albus, what he didn't expect was for Albus to act upon it first.

"Was he at school? Have you tried contacting him?"

"He wasn't at school, I have texted him asking if he was ok and if I did something wrong, but he ignored me!."

Scorpius stood up angrily and ran upstairs. Draco heard his door slam a few seconds later.

Scorpius curled up on his bed, looking out the window. His eyes were beginning to tear up, but he tried not to let it get to him. He heard his door open and he ignored it, staying curled up in a sobbing and sniffling ball. Scorpius felt the bed dip slightly as his father sat next to him.

"I love him dad." Scorpius sniffled. "I don't know what to do."

Draco spotted Scorpius' sketch book on his bed side table.

"Scorpius?"

"Yeah dad?" Scorpius mumbled

"Did you draw that?"

Draco pointed to the sketch book. It was opened on the drawing Scorpius did of Albus. Scorpius looked at where he was pointing and sat up. He picked up his sketch book and stared at the drawing.

"Yeah." He mumbled a little louder.

Scorpius handed his father the book and Draco knew it was a drawing of Albus. He flicked through the pages, seeing more drawings of Albus amongst other things.

"I didn't know you could draw, Scorpius." Draco said looking at his son.

"I don't really talk about it do I?"

Draco shook his head.

"If Albus continues to ignore you tomorrow I will take you to the Potter's house and you will give Albus this drawing." Draco said as if it were an order.

"Huh?" Scorpius looked at his dad cluelessly.

"Albus would love this, Scorpius! He would have to forgive you." Draco said.

Scorpius shrugged tiredly and Draco told him to get some sleep, Scorpius didn't complain. Scorpius fell asleep almost instantly only to woken up by the ping of his phone. He sleepily reached for his phone and opened It. There was a message from Albus.

Albus: Its Complicated.

Scorpius: Please Albus, stop ignoring me.

Please tell me if I did something wrong.

Scorpius yawned and looked over at his desk, spotting the leather diary. He knew it was wrong, but he was dying to know what Albus Potter writes in his diary. Does he write about me? He got out of bed and walked silently over to his desk, glancing at the picture of Albus once more before grabbing the diary and taking it back to his bed. He stared at the cover for a moment before flicking to a random page.

I don't know what to do. I can't tell anyone this and it is killing me.

Scorpius Malfoy, what has he done to me?

He would never love me, I would probably ruin our whole entire friendship.

Scorpius shuddered, his heart pounding and his breath quickening. The entry was from over a year ago. How long? How long has been keeping this a secret? He thought. Scorpius felt a wave of guilt and he closed the diary. He found himself drifting off to sleep, hugging the diary close to his chest.
