"It's the unexpecting people,
that do the unexpected things."—————————————————————————————————————————————
'Uggg this time yesterday I had only just got here.' Alexandrine thought, her mind wondering without her consent. As she looked around outside area. Green grass and tall trees surrounding the school building.
'Yh this time last week you had only just gotten up.' she laughed subconsciously at the laziness she never seemed to take note of before.
'Who are You trying to kid I hadn't even woken up yet.' She through back honestly, playing around with her sarcastic tone.
"Thank you." Noah said, voice quiet as it spilled meaningful words - - meaningful to him at least. Alexandrine shook away thoughts cocking her head to the said in a confused manner, not quite understanding what he meant, they were friends and all so she couldn't comprehend why he had felt the need to thank her, she had only know him for a few hours, admittedly, however he felt connected to him some how, like they were supposedly find each other, like he was met to find her - - like she was meant to find him. The only possible explanation she could come up with was that he didn't feel the same way.
Noticing her confusion, but missing the churning thoughts behind her eyes, not being able to sense it thought her shielding shades, he expanded trying to explain his meaning "for not pushing me..." his head drifting of to look at an insignificant spot on the passing concrete as they walked on the only pathway through the greenery. Alexandrine returned her gaze ahead of her and taking a few paces slightly faster, now making her a stride ahead of him silently curing all tall people, she wasn't sure what to make of the situation and didn't quite know what to do when faced with something akin to this. He took this as a sign for him to continue, hence adding "and for sticking up for me."
Baffled by the notion she stopped abruptly just in front of his compressed figure. She turned on her heels, staring daggers at him now bewildered form, not sure what he had done wrong - - fearing that me might loose his only friend.
"I never what you to thank me for something like that!" Venom laced her all as expressed her rage, not caring about who could hear her outburst because from where she stood no one had made there way out yet.
"Now, now, now." A voice rang from behind her "aren't you just the sweetest." It hung in the air, the masculine tone sarcastic but sweet, almost too sweet for who it was.
She knew him all too well.
She took a deep calming breath in, closing her eyes and then slowly let out the air, trying to ease her frustration. Clenching her teeth a little harder then necessary sh plastering on one of her traditional wallpaper smiles onto the canvas of her face.
"Striker." She stated before turning around to face him staying so hard not to let her anger creep into her already penetrating gaze and direct attitude.
"I need to talk to you." He said, looking straight at her, unwaveringly. Noah and Alexandrine shared an unknowing look, unsure of what he was going to say. After all Noah dint know him, he hadn't event spoken to him and her last conversation with him wasn't exactly the 'I wanna be friends with you' kinda thing.
Striker looked between the and something within this mind flickered through his thoughts and traveled toward his chest. He was completely unaware what this could be, however, so he pushed it away, sweeping it away. He bit down on his tongue as a means to sound more aggressive, more scary. "Alone."
Sorry this isn't nearly as long as the other, more resent chapters. I just wanted to get one out as an end of the decade type thing then bring out a start of the decade one to celebrate both the beginning of a new year hand decade) and to commemorate the ending to another. Hope that's okay.
Please remember to comment and vote (if you want)
And tell em any ideas you may have as well as any future predictions.
So I know his chapter was a little boring and not much happened but I'm trying to tone down her attitude a little bit (tell me if you don't want this to happen and I won't) but this chapter was more of a gate way to starting up Alexandrine and Striker talking and everything that I know you guys have come here for.
And because I know there isn't much going on to actually ask you many question I'm gonna keep it to the most important one.
What do you think Striker wants to talk to Alexandrine about?
I'm sorry but the next chapter won't be out yet. I just have a lot to do right now with my family. But I'll try to get it out ASAP.
