Ben Solo Lives | a Reylo story (Star Wars)

Chapter 2

  I woke up to the sound of bb-8 hitting my door trying to get in. I question why he couldn't come in but then i realized that Ben is sleeping against the door. I look out the window to see the fresh dew on all of the trees and plants outside and the sun almost all the way up. 

  I try and move Ben away from the door slowly and carefully, but he is as heavy as my X-wing. I sigh heavly and i try and use the force to move him. I almost got him to my bed when all of a sudden someone started banging on my door. Ben falls and lands straight on my bed. Thinking that he might have woken up, I look over to see if he did and I hear a snore come out of his mouth. I laugh just a little and go see who's at the door.

  "Rey thank god you're awake!" Poe laughs and hugs me. "What? What do you mean I saw you yesterday!" "Rey, you have been asleep for three days."

  I stand there in shock. I mean I didn't even realize I was so tired. I guess using so much energy to defeat Palpatine really made me physically exhausted. I wonder if Ben has been asleep for three days as well.

  "That... that's not ok! I have so much I have to do. I have to train, I-I" "It's ok. It's not like there is a huge war you have to prepare for. besides don't you think it's time to start the jedi again?" Poe looks at me seriously and I haven't event thought of that yet. Since Ben and are technically the last ones who can use the force we have to start looking for others who can use the force as well. I look around to see if I have any of Luke's training books left and I don't see any.

  "I have to go back to Ahch-To. There has to be books that Luke wrote or had about training. If I can't even train myself how am I supposed to train other people!" I say starting to get my bag and stuffing things into it.

"no no no you are not going there alone! Finn or I will go with you." "Poe I saved the galaxy I think I can go to a planet by myself." I said while giving a look. Poe sighs and runs his fingers through his hair. "Please, just bring someone with you I don't want you to get hurt ok?"

"Grrr fine i'll bring Ben are you happy?" I said while throwing my stuff on my bed forgetting Ben was sleeping on it. "Yes that's fine. But if anything happens-""nothing is going to happen. I promise" i say while giving him a reassuring smile.

after 30 minutes of trying to wake up Ben I give up and head to the showers. I put my hair into one bun instead of its original three. Soon I make my way to the dining hall and grab some eggs and buns. I grab extra buns for Ben when he wakes up. Hopefully by then we can leave to go to Ahch-To.

"Good morning Rey." "Rey how are you doing?" "Rey! wanna come sit by me?" Walking back I get drowned with all of these people and all I want to be is alone. I quickly make my way back to my room and i see Ben is gone. I look around to see if he is just hiding somewhere while putting down my food on one of my tables. I look down the hallway and I don't see him around. He probably went exploring or something. When I look back at my room, its a mess. I quickly start making my bed and putting away my clothes trying to make it look like I haven't cleaned it in a month.

  Once my room looked a little bit more presentable, I started reading some of the books I had from Luke. I go on my bed and eat my eggs and buns. I look outside and I see everyone just walking around or fixing their ships and looking at the radar to see if anything is coming.

As soon as i completed reading Luke's book,  I grab my staff and lightsaber and head towards my training spot. The walk there so far was nice and quiet. All I heard where the insects and punching sounds? I sprint to where the sound was coming from and I see Ben punching a tree. Shirtless...

again...

"Wow you are really hurting that poor tree." I say while crossing my arms "Sorry, I just needed to clear my head." He says turning around looking at me. I accidentally keep staring at his chest and i can feel my face become super red and hot. "Are you done staring?" Ben says while laughing a little.

"Why were you in my room this morning?" I said looking directly at his eyes. "Oh uh... You didn't wake up for a while so I went to check in on you and I guess I fell asleep" He says looking down. I smile and make my way closer to him. "Well thank you for worrying about me but I think I was just fine." i said and give him a hug.

"Oh by the way we need to go to Ahch-To. I have to see if Luke has any training books or anything." I said while looking up at him. "Why would you need that?"

"because we need to restore the Jedi."
