Two weeks of summer class: √ done. Two weeks more! Bilis ng panahon. I can smell weekend coming nearer. Napag-usapan na namin ang plans for us girls so I'm getting really excited.
The boys have their own plans too. So kami na muna nila Lily and Hana ang magbobonding. Hell yeah.
"Want some?"
"Maybe later. Sure na ba tayo this weekend? No back outs? Baka may plans kayong iba. Pwede pa naman natin i-move eh." Sabi ko.
Nakita kong nag-pout si Lily, "Bakiiit? Hindi pwede yun! Basta ako, I'm freeee."
"Same here. Push na natin yan! If ever naman na magkaroon ako ng biglaang tasks this weekend, I'll cancel it. Matuloy lang yung plans natin." She said.
We stayed quiet for a moment. Mahangin pa sa pwesto namin. Nakakarelax sa feeling kapag tumatambay kami dito on top of the hill.
I stared at the view of an empty lot. Then, yung mga tall buildings near the city. Mother and daughter moments, I thought. Pero that was before. Nalungkot tuloy ako.
No, I shouldn't be sad. She made me promise na hindi ako malulungkot kapag nawala siya. It would make her sad even more daw. And it would be harder for her to leave me.. and us.
I should be happy. No more sad thoughts, just happy ones. Happy thoughts. I smiled gently as I closed my eyes. I know for sure na si mommy yun, leaving a kiss on my cheek.
I opened my eyes and startled for a moment when I heard a clicking sound and beeping of a car. My eyes landed below the hill, sa may parking lot. There came out a guy wearing a plain blue polo shirt and green shorts that matches his maroon cap. Hm, not bad.
"Si Zander yun ah." Lily sat up from her sit to wave at him. "Zandeeeer! Over here!"
Tumingin si Zander sa amin, sa taas. He waved back and gave a small smile at saka umalis. Saan kaya siya pupunta? Teka, ba't siya nandito?
"Ang gwapo niya 'no? Grabe. Ngiti pa lang, pa-heart attack na." Sabi naman ni lily with dreamy eyes. Seriously? Tinotopak na naman 'to. Tsk tsk.
"Ano kayang ginagawa niya dito? May plans kaya sila ng mga boys today? Di naman tayo sinasali eh." Hana said after shoving a spoon of yogurt. Tagal maubos ah.
"Speaking of, I haven't seen them today." Lily added. Oo nga 'no?
"Baka umuwi ng maaga. Pero parang hindi. Gumimik siguro. Grabe talaga ang mga yun." sabi naman ni Hana.
"'Yaan niyo na. Buhay nila yan e." I shrugged. "Don't worry girls. We'll have our own plans. Without them. We'll own the weekend."
We exchanged looks with a grin. Alam na this. I'm sure hindi namin masusunod lahat according to plan.
"Girls, sorry pero I have to go. I got a text from Ma ngayon lang. She's waiting na pala. Magkikita kami sa Ortigas ngayon e. I have to buy a costume for our Speech class na rin." Sabi ni Hana as she grabbed her bag and stood.
"Uy! Classmates kaya tayo! Sama na rin ako." Tumayo na rin si lily. Okay. So ako na lang pala maiiwan dito. "Sorry, chels! Lab pa rin kita. Mwa!" She gave me a sweet hug and did the same.
