Dylan stood stiffly backstage, fiddling with the blue stage curtain.
He was dressed in complete white: white skinny jeans, white T-shirt and socks. Even white gloves and beanie. Only 5 people were wearing white, who were the lead dancers, including Dylan, of coarse. All the others were wearing black.
Dylan got tired of fiddling with the curtain and started biting his nails.
"Wow there, calm down! You're shaking as much as Porky Pig!" Linda's voice said amusingly from behind Dylan.
Dylan turned around fast and faced her, "I'm n-nn-not n-ne-nervous a-at all!" Dylan crossed his arms stubbornly.
"Suuure you aren't." Linda grinned before walking closer to Dylan and put her arm round his shoulder. "Chill out. I've never seen you so nervous before. What's going on with you recently?"
She sighed and thought to herself. Ever since that guy from yesterday showed up, he's been acting funny...ah ha! It's obviously him. Oh, Dylan, my friend, don't suppress the gay! The unicorn's true power is too fabulous to be hidden! I better get those two boys together...I gonna need a camera on me at all times...hehehe!!
Dylan looked at Linda in confusion, while she wriggled her eyebrows and grinned to herself. What the hell is this girl even...you know what, I don't even want to know, there's no point. I'm sure she's fangirling in her head again.
Dylan sighed to himself before telling Linda to not worry and walked further back stage.
Dylan was reluctant to let Leo come along and watch him. Leo had begged and begged for Dylan to let him come. On the way to the performance, Leo and Dylan just sung along to some songs. Completely carefree. The nerves came flooding in as soon as they arrived. For some reason, Dylan got really nervous when he thought about Leo watching him from the audience. What if I mess up? What if it goes wrong? Will he laugh at me? What if the stage breaks from under us and we get buried alive!!! Wait, Dylan, calm the fuck down! Seriously? Buried alive? What's wrong with you today?!
Dylan moaned, walked into the bathroom and splashed water onto his face. "Come on Espina-Rowan! Get yourself together!"
"What's up with you, dumbass." Dylan heard a male, smug voice from the doorway. He could hear that grin from a mile away.
Dylan sighed, "What do you want Kevin, I'm really not in the mood."
Kevin walked towards Dylan and patted his shoulder. "I was just trying to be nice! Its just that it's weird for the annoying, dumbass, sarcastic, confident dance leader like you to be so scared. You always pump us all up and cheer us on before we go to dance. What's up with you?"
