Ivy's POV

I sat down next to Maria in English, and Adam sat down next to me. I looked at him and gave him a blistering look,

“what?” he asked, shrugging, “can't you try to be nice?” I gave him the Death Glare, he still didn't waver,

“urgh. I didn't sign up for this, you know.” I replied,

“yeah, I know- you announced it to the whole of the French class.” He said, his dark hair shone in the dim light coming from the windows. I rolled my eyes at him.

“Fine. I'm in nice polite mode.” I got very moody, very easily- even though I was pretending, I AM SUCH A GOOD LIAR and I think Adam got the picture- I didn't like him (though I secretly did)... This was so confusing to wrap my head around... woah. I looked at Maria who was sitting next to me,

“guess what's happening on the weekend.” I told her, not acknowledging Adam in the least,

“I dunno, what?” she asked, thinking,

“didn't I say to guess?” I replied, looking annoyed,

“but how can I, I've got no clues!” She shot back, looking more annoyed,

“Hey! Why do I have to give you clues?!” I said, fuming, we always argued, so this was pretty normal for us. Adam on the side, stuck his head in between ours, he was so close!

“Care to include me?” He said, smiling, I rolled my eyes.

“Girl convo. Guys not included.” I said to him, flicking my hair,

“Well, it didn't seem very girly, guessing what's happening in the weekend.” He said and flicked his imaginary hair. I grinned a little,

“Okay. You got me.”

“so... let me guess. So is it a party?” He asked, cocking his head to the side, Maria nodded vigorously.

“Nope! But scratch that. Let's talk about you. Where you from and all that? We want the juicy stuff!” I said, Mariya nodded vigorously again, honestly, she was starting to act like a puppy.

“Um. Okay.... So... My name's Adam Dark-” He started, but I interrupted,

“Obviously. Skip to the good bit.” I said, he rolled his eyes at me and carried on,

“Right. Fine. I'm fifteen-” (and I murmured “still not interesting...”) “-I'm single” (he winked at me... aw! Though I rolled my eyes) “I have the awesomest hair, I used to live far away from here... My friends were... My friends...” And he stopped and just stared straight ahead, not seeing anything and ignoring our calls. Then frustration built up- not in me- but on Adam's face. Was it because of us? Adam looked up at Maria and I, and said “my friend's dead... and it's all because of me” and with that, he slammed his hands on the table, stood up and stormed out of the class.
