Chapter 20

"You guys wanna watch a movie?" Ben suggested

"You guys can, I'm really tired."

"Yeah come on Ben, we just saved Eddie from his psycho mother." Bev said.

"Hey hey, don't be too hard on him Bev; I mean  it's just a movie."

Some of the losers decided to watch a movie, Stan, Bev and Bill went into the extra room to hangout.

Eddie headed upstairs and told Richie to hang out with the others.

"Come on Rich, just go hang out with them."

Eddie sat on Richie's bed and tucked himself in.

"No, I'm not leaving your side."

"Rich-

"Can I at least stay until you fall asleep? Babe, this is my room you know that?"

Eddie sighed, "Fine." Blushing a little when he heard the nickname.

He held Eddie while he fell asleep in his arms, his head resting on the small one.

He didn't wanna leave his side. Ever. Not after that. But he couldn't be too protective over Eddie, he wouldn't like it. So he just savoured this moment and held his boyfriend tight in his arms. Once Eddie was in a deep sleep he silently left the room and joined Bill, Stan and Bev.

"Hey Rich how is he?" Stan said.

Richie shut the door and sat on the ground next to Stan and Bev.

"Good. He's doing good. But god when I saw him- i.."

Beverly rested her head on Richie's shoulder, "He's gonna be okay Rich."

"I know....but she really hurt him. She really did."

Beverly rubbed his arm, trying to comfort him.

"L-let's t-talk a-about s-s-something else." Bill said.

Stanley grinned at Richie, "How are you two?" He teased.

He laughed, "I-I think we're really good together, I really love him. Like really, I really do. I- I've never been so happy, like he just changed me. But it's fucking annoying we have to hide it, I mean this is Derry. You know how people are."

"Yeah, but how do you feel Rich? Just you. When you're with Eddie, how do you feel." Stan said.

"Is Eddie trying to get you to show me my sappy side??"

Bill smiled, "W-what?? N-nooo." He said sarcastically.

"Well I feel like it's easy to explain how I feel, but it's also hard in some way. Nothing bad of course, there is just so many things I feel for him. I- I can't even explain."

The three smiled.

"I mean how could someone not fall in love with Ed's?! He means the absolute world to me. I swear every time I see him I get butterflies, I can barely think. His smile, is the most beautiful thing in the world. And I can't take it with his laugh, it's the cutest thing-

Richie's face turned red, as he realized what he was saying.

"Oh wow you do have such a sappy side!" Bev lauged.

"It's okay Rich, keep going. I like this other side of you." Stan said.

"Oh so, I'm just an annoying trashmouth all the time?"
