Chapter 24

"God why does bad stuff keep happening to us!?" Richie yelled.

Henry then grabbed Richie's shirt by the collar and pushed him against the tree.

"Fucking let him go!!!!" Eddie yelled. Belch held him down.

Henry took out his knife, Richie's eyes widened in fear.

Eddie started crying, "LET HIM GO PLEASE!! TAKE ME!!"

Richie spun his head to look at Eddie, "What?! NO!!"

Henry shoved Richie against the tree and swung his fist into his stomach. He fell over, where Patrick held him.

Henry walked over to Eddie and cackled.

"EDDIE NOO!!!!!!!"

Eddie shut his eyes waiting to be cut.

"HEY ASSHOLES!!!"

All of them turned to see Beverly; she threw a rock hitting Henry in the face. Belch ran for her; Bill punched him right across the face.

Eddie and Richie ran to each other. Patrick helped Henry up, the others standing there.

"Guys come on!" They ran with Bill and Bev. The others not giving up and chased after them.

They ran until they reached the clubhouse, where they could easily hide. Bill shut the trapdoor, after a moment they heard footsteps run off.

"Thank fuck." Richie said, collapsing onto the floor. (on a blanket)

"Are you okay Rich..?" Eddie asked, examining his stomach.

"Yeah," he held Eddie's hand. Eddie smiled and hugged him. Richie a little shocked.

"Thank god you're okay."

Richie held him, "Thanks guys. You saved us."

Beverly smiled, and the four had a group hug.

"How'd you find us anyway?" Eddie asked.

"Me and Bill were walking in the park and saw you guys getting chased."

"Well thank you for being there. I took Richie on a date."

"A date?!" All three said in sync.

"Yeah, I was gonna take you to the movies too Rich. And maybe go out to a restaurant and eat dinner. Then go back to your house and make a fort, and binge watch movies."

Richie smiled in shock. "Awwwwww Ed's," he cuddled him.

"Aw Eddie you're so sweet. I wish Bill were like that." She chuckled.

"W-woah w-woah w-woah, I-I c-can be l-like E-Eddie."

"I'm just kidding," she laughed.

"We should go. But thank you guys, for saving our lives." Eddie chuckled.

"Have fun on your date!" Bev yelled, and the two climbed out.

"Date, huh Ed's?"

They started walking, arms around each other.

"Yeah. I wanted to do something special, unfortunately Bowers showed up."

"It's okay right?"

"Yeah come on, let's go to the movies."

After the movie ended they walked their way to a restaurant called Willy's. Not caring what people thought of them, most of the time. As promised the two went back to Richie's and made a fort. Richie turned on the goonies.
