Chapter 22

The losers decided to watch Titanic in the basement, and snack on some popcorn and chips. Richie's mother went to sleep in her room.

"Where are we sleeping Richie?" Bev asked.

"Well, some of y'all can sleep in the living room on the couch. And some of you can sleep down here."

"You know unless you and Bill wanna make out you can stay down h-

Bill threw the chip bag at Richie, and he laughed.

"What?! Don't tell me you two don't wanna do it. Maybe this time I'll interrupt you-

Eddie pushed him, "Shut up."

Bill gave him a glare, Richie made a circle with his one hand and used his other finger to pretend to. (We all know)

"Or would you guys rather-

Bill tackled him, making Richie burst into laughter.

"Can we watch a movie in peace?! Just one time, please!" Mike begged.

"Apparently not." Stanley rolled his eyes.

"Alright guys come on! I love this movie-
Eddie started

"Not as much as you love me-

Eddie threw a piece of popcorn at his head.

"Okay okay I'll shut up!" Richie pouted and crossed his arms.

Eddie giggled, then pulled out his phone and texted Richie.

Richie looked at Eddie smiling at the other side of the room, he looked down at his phone and smirked. Blush crossing his face.

Eddie got up and went to the "bathroom."

"You guys want more popcorn?" Richie asked.

"Sure."

Richie made them some popcorn and gave it to Ben to hold onto. "I'm gonna use the bathroom upstairs, cause Eddie's taking a million years."

Richie ran up the stairs and into his bedroom where Eddie was, waiting.

"Smartass." Richie giggled. He closed the door and locked it.

He walked up to Eddie nervously, and glanced at his lips. Eddie then pulled him down to his height and began to kiss him, taking off Richie's glasses. Richie grabbed onto his shirt and pulled him closer before the two collapsed onto the bed.

Eddie rubbed his hands through his hair. Richie moved his hands up Eddie's shirt and slid it off. He pinned his arms down, and continued making out with him. Everything then went into slow motion, every time their lips touched their hearts would skip a beat. Everything just felt perfect.

Knock knock

They both jumped and Richie fell off the bed. Eddie softly giggling.

"Ahem. Who is it?" Richie asked.

"Stan. Eddie's still In the bathroom, you wanna check on him....? What are you doing in here anyways?"

"N-nothing. Eddie should be fine, I'll check in a sec. Go watch the movie."

He heard the footsteps fade away, and the two laughed.

"You locked the bathroom door?"

"Like you said. I'm a smartass."

Richie smiled looking down at him, he bit his lip and stared at his parted lips.

"Just gonna stare? Or are you gonna kiss em?"
