Chapter 34

(I have no idea how long they've split up at some moments, then when Eddie was missing, and the weeks long breakup and stuff so let's just say it's a couple days before school)

"You think Henry will leave us alone this time?" Eddie said.

"I'll fucking kill him if he doesn't." Stan scoffed.

Richie played with his own hair, and rested his hand on the table. He sighed deeply.

"You okay over there bud?" Ben said.

"Yup, schools back, which sucks."

That fucking liar. Eddie said to himself.

"Grade 10, ugh." Bev ran her fingers through her hair.

"It's only bad because Henry is there, I actually wouldn't mind it." Ben said.

"Haystack, kids make fun of you all the time. They make fun of all of us, how could you like it?"

"I- i don't know.."

"Exactly. School is shit, but if you guys are there, it's acceptable."

Eddie smiled.

Eddie wrote in his notebook on the couch. The others chatting.

"Whatcha writing Ed's??" He snatched the book out of his hand.

"Give it back asshole!! Don't look it in!" He snatched the book back from Richie.

"Okay! okay! I was just messing around, what's in there anyways."

"None of your business."

He laughed, "ill find out what's in there, eventually."

"You wanna go to the quarry?" Eddie asked.

"Ye-

"Just us I mean."

"Oh," he smiled. "Yeah."

They got on their swim trunks and snuck out of the house. They arrived at the cliff.

"Okay Ed's get ready to j-

Eddie pushed him off the cliff, and started laughing.

Richie landed in the water, "EDDIE!!!?!?"
He yelled.

He burst out laughing, "Now you know how it feels Tozier!!" He jumped off.

He arose from the water and Richie tackled him, "can't believe you did that to me!" He shook his shoulders.

Eddie tried pushing him away, "Okay okay you can stop now!!" He pushed on his chest.

"You're so annoying." Eddie giggled.

They stood there for a moment, smiling and giggling. Their eyes met.

He then splashed Eddie right in the face, which made him choke. He laughed and kept splashing him.

"Rich! Stop!" He splashed back. Richie dove underwater.

"Rich?! Where the fuck are you?! You better n-

Richie arose from underneath Eddie and threw his over his shoulders.

"Ahhhh!!!" Eddie flung into the air, and back into the water.

Richie laughed, and Eddie came and attacked him.

"You should've seen you face!" He laughed.

Eddie pushed him underwater, and laughed.
