Ch 20

Stella's POV

We went deeper into the woods. It seemed empty, silent and dark. At this point I realized how dumb I was. His friends weren't here! No one is!

I tried to wiggle my hand out of his grip but failed miserably.

"Jas-Jason! Let m-me go!" I kept trying to pull my hand away. But he's much stronger.
"Don't be scared Stella" The tone of his voice is scary.

He pinned me to a tree holding both of my hands over my head tightly. He pushed his body against mine.

"N-no! Pl-please J-Jason! Let me go!" I begged. I'm so terrified right now. All I'm thinking is that he's gonna rape me and then probably kill me.

He started rubbing his hard crotch against my lower area.
"No please! Please Jason!" I was close to tears. He didn't even seem to flinch or give it a second thought. He buried his head in my neck kissing it. I tried so hard to wiggle out of his grip but without any luck.

He held both of my wrists in one hand pinning them above my head. And with his other hand, he started opening my jeans' zipper and trying to lower it.
"N-no p-please.. s-stop.. " I begged.

I suddenly hear a distant but loud growl. It startled Jason. Without letting go of my arms he turned his head right and left to see what the hell that was. Then he ignored it and continued to lower my skinny jeans till they reached my knees. He pushed his body to mine and tried to kiss my neck once again. I kept begging him to stop but he wouldn't listen. Tears are flowing from my eyes...

DEREK'S POV

"Please..stop" I heard her voice whimper. I growled and ran as fast as I could towards him. I'mna kill the bastard hurting her.

I got there and rage started overcoming me for what I saw. I saw that jerk Jason pinning her to a tree trunk and her pants are down showing her thighs. He was just about to touch her underwear when I reached him.

I grabbed Jason and snatched him away from her. Stella fell to the ground crying and pulling her pants back up. I pinned Jason to a tree. And punched him few times, his lips are bleeding and his cheek is already swollen. But I'm still fumed with fury I want to kill that son of a *****.
"No please! I'm sorry!! Just let me go!" Jason started crying and begging.

I lift my arm to give him another punch but Stella held it stopping me.
"D-Derek let him go..please" she tells me. I look into her tearful eyes and couldn't refuse her request. I let Jason go giving him a last strong push that sent him flying and slammed into a tree. But he got up and ran for the hills.

"You came.. You saved me.." her voice croaked. One tear still sliding down her cheek.

I brought my thump up to wipe it away.

Stella's POV

He wiped my tear away. His touch was so gentle. Derek came to rescue me. Again.

"Thank you Derek.. If -if you weren't here I -I w-" I couldn't continue because of the lump forming in my throat.
Derek instantly placed his hand behind my neck and pulled my head to his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and I just felt so safe like all of my fears were washing away. He just hugged me and let me cry silently in his arms.

"I'm sorry I let him get this far..sorry I didn't stop him earlier. I should've killed that son of a.." What is he apologising for? He saved me!! Again! He said that last part with gritted teeth. He's still mad at Jason.

"Derek, dont.You saved me.." I tell him as I was beginning to calm down.

He held my shoulders and stepped back to look at me. He brought his hands up cupping my face.
"You okay..?" He asks me. I know I'll always be as long as he's here.
I nod. He looks deep into my eyes and I feel all of my feelings towards him are exposed. I turn away from his gaze.

He puts an arm around my shoulders squeezing me one last time, "C'mon let's go" He said. We started walking back.

"Derek.." I'm hesitant but I have to ask.
"Hmm?" He replies.
"How did you find me? No, How are you here?" I ask him.

"I came here to see how you're doing. I've asked about you and someone told me he saw you walking into the woods with someone. I guess I was just here in the right time." He quickly explained without looking at me. I'm having a hard time believing him but I let it go.

I took out my phone to text Scott but saw that there was already a text from him.
Scott: hey there's a creepy pissed guy asking about you. What did you do? -45 minutes ago.

Stella: Hey Scott, don't worry everything's okay. I'm sorry I had to leave the party. I'll meet you and Kira tomorrow. Have fun! -2 seconds ago.

"Do you wanna go back to the party?" Derek asked me.
"Nah! It was too loud and crowded anyway." I told him.

"C'mon then I have something to show you" He said, suddenly, seeming all excited.
"What is--" I couldn't help but smile too at the sight of his gorgeous smile.
"No questions" He raised his hand to stop me from asking. I huffed. I hate waiting.

We walked a lot. From the woods to the campus. Surprisingly, He knows his way through the campus very well. We reached the students parking. And he stopped smiling at me.

"What?!" I stupidly asked.
He pointed to his left. We're standing next to a blue jeep exactly like the one I crashed.
"Yeah! This looks exactly like mine" I told him, missing my baby.

"This is yours" He told me.
"Come again?" I was so dumbfounded.
"This is yours." He smiled at me.

I gasped covering my mouth with both of my hands. He bought me a car!? Oh My God!
"But.. But.. How!" I was speechless.

"Yours is crashed because of the storm. You're a student you need a car. I found this the other day and it looks exactly like yours so.." He explained scratching the back of his neck looking so adorable.

"Oh my god Derek! You shouldn't have! Thank you so much! But I - I can't accept that!" I told him. Okay, I'm officially in love with that guy. He's just..perfect!

"You have to. It's a gift. From me." He threw a key to me and I caught it.
"Derek..I don't know what to say. How can I ever repay you for everything you've done for me." I honestly was lost at words! I didn't understand why was he so nice to me. I owed him a lot.

"We'll think of something" he winked at me. I blushed immediately. I hoped he didn't notice.
"Wanna take it for a ride?" Derek asked.
"Yeah!! C'mon". We jumped in the jeep and drove.
I couldn't remove the grin off of my face I bet I looked silly.

I turned on the radio and we drove aimlessly. We're both singing along and enjoying our time.
