Ch 22

Stella's POV

It's been three months since I last saw Derek. Time is passing so slow. I did catch Isaac once behind the bushes stalking me. It's hard to miss his shimmery golden hair under the sunlight. And as much as I wanted to go talk to him, ask him about Derek. I didnt. I pretended that I didn't notice him. I guess Derek sent him to check on me. Why didn't he come himself? I miss him like crazy.. I haven't been able to take him off my mind.

Other than that, everything was going smoothly. I would hang out with Liam and few of his friends during our breaks. I'd visit my dad in the weekends. Scott and Kira visited me every now and then. I've seen Jason several times but he never spoke to me or even looked at me for too long. I guess Derek really freaked him out.

We're a week away from winter break. I can't wait! I don't have any plans though. I guess I'll just spend it in Beacon Hills with my dad.

DEREK'S POV

I couldn't stop thinking of Stella for the past three months. I've been sending Isaac to go check on her every couple of days. I wanted to go myself. But I didn't wanna see her with Liam, who knows what I'll do to that kid?

"Hey Derek, you smell that?" Aiden's alarmed voice interrupted my string of thought of, none other than, Stella Stilinski. He suddenly stood up and his eyes turned yellow.

I inhaled and instantly caught Peter's scent very close. What brings him here at this late hour?

"Relax Aiden" I ordered Aiden and he sat down.
The cabin door opened.

"Hello there! missed me?" Peter says as he walked in. The twins and I ignored him. Thank god Isaac isn't here, he hated Peter the most, he's stalking Stella at the moment.

"What do you want Peter?" I asked in annoyance.

"I miss you my dear nephew" Peter sat down and grabbed the remote to watch tv.

Aiden is giving me pissed looks. I rolled my eyes and just shook my head to tell him to simply ignore Peter.

Peter was unusually quiet. Something was wrong. I kept inspecting him trying to grasp any clue of what he's planning for but nothing. He's too calm.

Suddenly, his phone rang. And a smile spread over his face. Something's up.
"Yeah. is it done?" he spoke looking at me.
"Fantastic" he said smiling and closed the phone.

"Alright guys, see you" he got up heading to the door to leave.

I used my wolf-speed to go stand in front of him.
"What did you do Peter?" I glared at Peter. I just know he's done something. Something bad.

"I told you Derek, I'm lonely and I chose the first person to join my pack" he smirked at me and left.

My eyes widened in realization. It's Stella. That bastard stayed to make sure we're not with her!
I dialled Isaac's number quickly.

"Hey Derek whats up?" Isaac answered.
"Where's Stella?" I couldn't help but let a small growl escape. I'm fumed with anger.

"She's okay she went back to her room and she switched the lights off. I'm heading back now. You alright?" Isaac told me.

"No! Get back there and try to track her scent! Peter got her! I'm on my way. call for any updates" And I hung up and got in the twins' car with them heading to Isaac.

I'm filled with rage. I swear if Peter turns Stella. I'm gonna kill him. I'm done forgiving his mistakes. He doesn't deserve to live.
