Angel's pov
We were sitting at the table all together eating dinner. We were eating pizza from a place I had no idea. All I knew was that I was hungry and I was mowing down on my food.
I looked up at Jade, she was sitting there with her head down. She wasn't eating. I felt bad for her.
My stomach felt relieved as the pizza went down my throat and into my stomach, if that's even how it works.
The guys were all talking and laughing. I wasn't paying attention. I was to worried about eating my pizza.
I was thinking to my self when I heard Kevin bang his hand on the table.
I looked up. He was yelling at Jade.
"TALK WHEN YOU ARE SPOKEN TO!" He yelled at her.
She still didn't answer. She just kept her head down.
"Come on Jade, answer them before you get hurt" I thought to myself.
I really wanted to say something to her. But I was too afraid that I might get punished because I wasn't the cone being spoken too.
Next thing I knew Jade was screaming and being thrown over Kevin's shoulder.
He went up the stairs. She was screaming the whole way up.
She didn't stop screaming until I heard the door slam. Even then I still heard noises.
Everyone at the table was quiet.
It was silent upstairs. Then I heard a smack and then a scream. "One" I heard her scream
It was one after another. Scream after scream.
She was counting. Why was she counting? I asked myself.
Her screams sent goosebumps all throughout my body. Tears started rolling down my cheeks.
The screams got louder. I put my hands Up to my ears to plug them so I didn't hear the screams anymore. I couldn't take it.
I wanted out of this place. My eyes were closed tight.
I sat there, then all of a sudden I felt myself being picked up.
I opened my eyes. Collin had me in his arms. He carried me up the stairs.
As we got closer the screams got louder.
"No no no no please don't take me up here, please" I whined
"Shh ahh it's ok Angel" Collin said
As we got up the stairs, her screams were ear piercing.
Collin took me to my room. He set me down on my bed. I was balling my eyes out.
Even with my hands Over my ears I could still hear her screams. I sobbed even harder.
Collin went and got something and then he came back.
He had the black bag in his hand. He was unzipping it as he came closer to me.
At this point I didn't even care. I just didn't want to hear her screaming anymore. I hated the sound of it.
I stuck my arm out.
He starred at me in confusion. "Wow you must really not like that huh?" He said
I nodded slowly.
He stuck the needle in my arm. And then he laid me down and is tucked me in and he kissed my forehead. "Sweet dreams" he whispered
Then he walked away. And I laid there letting my eyes close, fading into darkness.
