The knife

Angels pov

My head was pounding. My body was sore. I didn't feel good at all. I had woken up about 10 minutes ago and I did nothing but lay there and think.

I thought about how maybe it was better for jade to die because she wouldn't have to live in this hell hole. Kevin couldn't hurt her anymore.
She was in a better place now.

Tears were steaming down my face but I kept quiet. I didn't want them to hear me.

I was snapped out of my thought then the door flung open. I looked and saw who it was.

It was Zander.

He smiled when he saw me. He walked over to me.

"Hi sweetheart, how are you doing?" He asked

"Can you just get me out of these ropes?" I asked annoyed.

I didn't wanna answer the question because I knew that he already knew the answer to it.

He walked over and untied the ropes.

My wrists felt relived once the ropes were off.

There were red marks, where the ropes were at. It hurt but they're better now.

He helped me off the bed. "Hungry?" He asked me

I nodded "starving" I replied

He held my hand as we made our way down the stairs.

I didn't know what me and Zander were. We didn't really have a label. But if he asked me to be his girlfriend I think I would say yes.

We made our way to the kitchen. I saw Kevin sitting at the table eating grapes.

He looked at me and quickly stood up. He put his hands up in surrender.

"Angel please listen to me, I didn't do anything to jade."  Kevin said

"Pfft ok whatever you say." I said rolling my eyes

I sat down on the opposite side of Kevin. ZAnder came up to me and brought me some toast and waffles.

I gobbled it up really fast. Zander looked at me and laughed

"Wow hungry much?" He said jokingly

I laughed along with him.

I took my plate to the sink and rinsed it off. While I was rinsing it I eyes the knife sitting on the counter. It was a big knife. I looked around and saw that no one was looking.

I quickly grabbed the knife and stuck it in my pants.

I walked back and sat down next to Zander

"Wanna go watch a movie?" I asked

He smiled and nodded. He grabbed my hand and took me towards the living room sitting me down on the couch.

He grabbed a movie and put it in. He sat down next to me.

We were watching "heartland" that's a really good movie.

I snuggled up next to Zander and leaned my head on his shoulder. He put his arm around me.

I felt safe and happy there.

I couldn't pay attention throughout the whole movie. I could only think about my plan for tonight.

Everyone is gonna go to sleep. And I'm Gonna tiptoe into Kevin's room and I'm gonna kill him. He took my best friends life so Now I'm taking his.

I was really nervous for tonight but at the same
Time excited. I might get the hell outta here, where my freedom is.

I smirked. And continued to watch the rest of the movie.
