Caves and Stuffs

Both Pichu and Pit looked around at their dim surroundings, and were almost hesitant to take a step further.

"Do you think that Ridley dug this hole?" Pit questioned his little sidekick.

"Possibly," Pichu mumbled. At that moment, they heard the rumbling of something large charging towards them.

"Ridley?!" The two heroes incorrectly guessed the identity of the gang approaching them.

"What the actual frick-frack-tick-tack-shit-shack-wick-wack- flip-flap-hit-hack bullshittery is this?" King Dedede was snarling at Pit, ready to smack him down.

"Watch your language!" Even though Kirby has tried to break Dedede's habit, his voice is not assertive enough to be taken seriously. "Its just Pit! Hai!"

Pit didn't want Kirby to get hurt, so he jumped in front of him. Even though Kirby is a literal god, Pit can't help but protect adorable things.

"J...just s..settle down there...." Pit was laughing anxiously, a little sweat dripped down from his forehead.

"Oh," Dedede lowered his stance. "Why would I actually hurt Kirby?"

"Uh..... aren't you his enemy?" Pit was really, really confused.

"Pit, King Dedede's villain-hero relationship with Kirby is a little complicated. Sometimes they team up if there's a bigger threat against both of their goals. Although, Kirby and Dedede fight sometimes when their own goals conflict each other's." Palutena stepped in with her helpful guidance. "But still, Dedede is greedy and out of shape." Her pitch dropped to a serious tone as she grumbled under her breath.

"C'mon, we'll show you guys out. Let's go," Dedede started flying upwards and Pichu climbed after him. Kirby stayed behind the crowd as a lookout.

"I'm just curious... why are you guys here, of all places?" Pit inquired.

"Some large monster carved an extra opening in this protected nature reserve, we have to inspect it together and figure out the culprit. We can't have other people here while the job is being done," Dedede paused his flight on a nearby platform,"

"We know the culprit, it's Ridley!" Pichu shouted. She got to the top of the surprisingly life-abound cave. She enjoyed the sweet smell of the grass.

Pit and Kirby finally got to the top afterwards. Kirby gave Pit directions, but Pit had to turn around to get Pichu first.

Pit was stopped short by Dedede, who asked for a private word with Pit.

"Did you hear about Mewtwo?" Dedede lowered his voice mentioning that one Pokemon.

"Pichu and I are trying to find his location," Pit nodded.

"When I heard about Ridley getting out, the first thing I thought about was if he had ties to Mewtwo..."

"How did you know it was Mewtwo running the Mii Cult?"

"He let me know personally. He told me, Ridley, and Ganondorf. Personally, I'm starting to regret being part of this operation..."

"You don't have to be a part if you don't want to," Pit tried to reassure Dedede, but it was no avail.

Dedede sighed. "I'm in for a lot of trouble if I change sides... Mewtwo promised all of us a future of ruling the world, with nobody to get in our way, but at the same time, being a villain is just not the same without an enemy. I wouldn't have came up with new ideas to reminds me of a certain Koopa, heh,"

"Man, that was some deep stuff you said there," Pit took pity onto Dedede. Dedede felt Pit's emotion and roasted him.

"Is your name Pit because you pity everything?" Dedede started to bellow out laughter as Pit grew red in the face from embarrassment.

"N..no! It's actually becaus-"

"Oh, would you look at the time! It's time for you to get out of here! I'll be in trouble with the District leaders!" Dedede was still himself, even with friends.

Pit and Pichu waved goodbye to their new friends, and ushered themselves out of the cave with the directions that Kirby gave them.
