Golden Boy

A humble farmer

Of golden words and silver paragraphs

Told me that I am wonderful.

But how could a passerby like myself

Be seen as something considered colorful

When compared in the light,

I'm really not as bright

As he is

Stardust pumps through his veins

and everything wonderful inside him remains...

untouched and unscathed.

He is invincible and unfazed

By the qualms of the crumbling world around him

What I'm trying to say is we were lucky to have

found him.
