7: don't go

"Congratulations." - the doctor said and me and Taehyung looked at each other.

"Y/n!" - Taehyung screamed and spun me around.

"We're going to be parents!" - I said and kissed him.

"I am so happy. This is the best birthday gift ever! Let's go home and tell everyone." - he took my hand and we exited the hospital and headed home.

Me and Taehyung have been married for a year now and we wanted a child so bad.

We got really upset when it didn't happen on our first try and we thought there was something wrong.

We even visited my doctor to see if Taehyung was sterile or the problem was in me.

Turns out, we were both fine. And not having a baby on our first try was completely normal.

Taehyung is right. This is the best birthday gift for him today.

I can't wait to tell my mom that's she's going to be a grandma!

We need to tell our friends too!

After ten minutes of driving me and Taehyung got home.

We called our parents and friends on our way here.

"I'll go cook something." - I said and headed to the kitchen but Taehyung grabbed my hand.

"No, you need to rest. And we already bought some food from the store."

"I'm fine. And a week pregnant. I'm capable of cooking."

"Nuh uh. I'm not letting you touch anything. You just sit there and wait for our guests."

"Taehyung-ah, you're too careful. I appreciate it, but what will you do when I'm close to labor? I'll look like a cow then." - I said and laughed at the thought.

"You're my queen. And you're carrying my prince or princess in here. I'll take care of you." - he said and kissed my stomach.

"I love you."

"I love you more."

Ding dong

"I'll get it!" - I said and ran to open the door.

"Y/n, sweetie!" - my mom hugged me.

"Come in." - I made a gesture with my hand and everyone got in.

"Hi guys!" - Taehyung greeted them all and sat next to me.

"Is there a special occasion why you called us tonight?" - Mr. Kim asked and me and Taehyung looked at each other.

"Looks like there is." - my dad said and I chuckled.

"Do you want to tell them?" - Taehyung asked but I shook my head.

"You do it."

"We're pregnant." - he said and I laughed at him.

"I meant Y/n. Y/n is pregnant. We're having a baby!" - he screamed and everyone stood up to congratulate us.

"I am really happy we're finally get a nephew or a niece." - Mrs. Kim said and hugged me.
After eating and talking, I heard Taehyung and his dad talking outside.

It looked like they were arguing.

I didn't want to ask anything before the guests so I let it go.

The rest of the night went well. The only thing that was bothering me was the look on Taehyung's face. His whole mood changed.

"Tae." - I sat on the bed while he cleaned the table.

"Yes?"

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, why are you asking?"

"I saw you and your dad tonight. It looked like you were arguing. Is something wrong?"
"No, everything's fine." - I took his hand and made him sit next to me.

"Taehyung. I know it when you lie. Come on, you can tell me everything. Did something happen?"

"Ah. Yes, it did. And I am really upset about it."

"What happened?"

"My dad.. he wants me to go work in America." - when he said that i felt my heart break into million pieces.

"What? America?"
"Yes.."

"Y-you're not going, are you?"

"Y/n.."

"Taehyung please tell me that your not going to leave me!"

"I have to."

"No! You can't do that! Taehyung I am serious! Will you really leave me and our baby here?" - I asked with tears in my eyes.

Please say no.. please stay..

"I told you, I have to. Otherwise my dad will-"

"You can sleep on the couch tonight." - I said and went to our shared room.

"Y/n wait!" - Taehyung called after me but I didn't hear.

It was like I was deaf because of the tears rolling down my eyes.

My vision was blurry and I was glad I made it to the stairs.

How could he.. how can he leave me here alone, with our child in my stomach?

I buried my head in the pillow and screamed, taking my anger out.

And without knowing it, I fell asleep.

The next morning when I woke up, I had a terrible headache and huge bags under my eyes.

I fell asleep in my clothes so I didn't have to change.

I went downstairs hoping to find Taehyung there, but he was nowhere to be seen.

I checked the guest room, the bathroom, but nothing.

My last option was our bedroom. I opened our closet and saw that some of his clothes and suitcase were gone.

"I am not letting you go." - I took my purse and jacket and got outside.

I took a taxi and headed to the airport.
On my way there I called Mrs. Kim.

She was the only member in the Kim family that I was on good terms with.

She told me she was at the airport and that Taehyung's flight was in thirty minutes.

After getting there I paid the driver and entered the huge airport.

I looked at the screens looking for directions.
There were too many people. How would I find him here?

I tried to focus and scanned everyone carefully.

Finally, I saw a guy that looked like him and ran towards him.

"Taehyung!" - I said and turned him around but.. it wasn't him.

I was close to the speaker desk.

There was no one there and the door was opened. That was my chance.

I got inside and closed the door carefully.

I turned on the mic and started talking.

If Taehyung was here he would hear me.

"Taehyung-ah, it's your Y/n. Please, Tae. You can't leave me like this. Not when we have a baby to be born. America is really far from here, I can't make it without you.

Please, I beg you. Don't go." - at that moment, I heard the door burst open.

Taehyung was standing there.

"Y/n!" - he pulled me ina tight hug.

"I am so sorry for this. Of course I would never leave you."
