13: surrogate mother

Laying down on the bed, I gently rubbed my tummy.

"My little baby, I want you to know that mommy loves you very much. I'm doing this because I want you to have a good future, something I can't provide for you. I hope you forgive me." - I talked to the unborn baby in my stomach.

I was in my last month, and my date was in two weeks.

"What are my two babies doing?" - Jungkook said when he entered the room.

I quickly wiped my tears because I didn't want him to see me crying.

"What's wrong?" - he sat beside me on the bed.

"It's just.. I don't have another way to do this and I'm really sad about it. I was talking to our baby and I asked him to forgive me." - more tears came out of my eyes.

"And the fact that I won't be able to hold him once he comes into this world.. This is really hard Jungkook." - I said and cried on his shoulder.

"Don't worry, Y/n. I told you that I'll get a divorce with Mina and we will leave forever." - he said and anger built up inside me.

"You're always saying that Jungkook! Ever since I first told you that I was pregnant, and yet nothing's happened." - I stood up and went by the window.

"I don't know how I agreed to live with you and your wife. Everyone hates me here and it's hard to take in everything they're saying to me. I'm just really tired of everything and I can't bear it. Your mom is insulting me every single day, and I'm sick of it. I should've got an abortion instead of bringing my kid into this family." - Jungkook came to me and cupped my cheeks.

"Y/n, please don't say that. I told you that all this will pass and I'll keep my promise.
Please, we'll have our baby in a little bit of time and we should only focus on that now. I'll take care of the problems, you don't need to think of everything but our baby." - he said and attempted to kiss me when we heard the door open.

"Honey, I need you upstairs." - Mina said and dragged Jungkook out of the room.

Me and Jungkook dated for six years until his parents stepped in our lives.

They said I wasn't good enough for him so they arranged a marriage and that's how Mina became his wife.

At the beginning Jungkook still visited me in my apartment whenever he had time to spend with me.

But soon he stopped because his 'wife' became paranoid and followed him everywhere. She didn't let him out of her sight.

At the beginning it was hard for me, knowing that he married someone else, but I knew he loved me and that somehow gave me the strength to live on.

The day I found out I was pregnant I called Jungkook as I planned to tell him the news.
But I had an unexpected visit from his wife.

She said she wanted to take my baby after I gave birth and she said that her and Jungkook would raise him. She couldn't have kids, and she threatened me that she would hurt Jungkook if I didn't do so.

I didn't have enough money that I could take care of my baby with. She left me with no choice.

Even though I didn't want to, Jungkook insisted for me to stay in their house while I gave birth. Of course, he promised me he would get divorced and we would leave the country.

I still believe in that but I'm scared that we won't be able to escape because his parents know his every move.

I just don't know how she feels because she clearly knows that Jungkookstill loves me. I really hope she's on her right mind after all these nine months.
