"And he strikes again. The police department has officially given an arrest warrant for this serial killer, also known as The Cannibal.

It is known that he killed twenty people in the last week and we think that he's not going to stop.

We don't know what he did to the bodies since they haven't been found. Ladies and gentlemen, you have been warned.

Lock your doors and don't take walks by yourselves, cause it is known that he roams this city at night.

We will be waiting for more information from the SPD. Till then, be safe."

"I can't believe this." - my mom sat on the couch next to me.

"Who would do such a horrible thing?" - she said as she took a sip of her tea.

"I don't know mom. But, knowing our police officers they won't be able to catch him."

"I hope he gets caught soon. And you can't go out alone anymore. Especially at night." - she said and I widened my eyes.

"What? Why?"

"What do you mean why? Are you deaf? There's a serial killer out there somewhere. Aren't you scared?" - she turned to me with an angry look.

"I have nothing to be scared of." - I said calmly.

"I should've give birth to a boy not a girl. I seriously don't know what's wrong with you."
- she stood up and left the living room.

"I need some fresh air." - I took my jacket and put my shoes on.

"Yah, you punk! Where are you going at this hour?" - I ignored my mom's yelling and left the house.

"I'm sick of her treating me like a piece of shit." - I headed to a nearby shop to buy some chocolate because I got hungry.

"Hello." - I said as I entered the shop.

I went over the sweets section and chose my favorite chocolate flavour and after that I went to the cashier to pay.

There was this weird looking guy that gave me a even more weird look before he left the shop.

I quickly shrugged it and paid for my snack.

Then I went to the nearest park so that I could peacefully eat.

It was dark outside, and there weren't many lampposts lighting the street. It was also hard to see because of the fog everywhere.

Of course, it was the middle of January.

"This turned out good. I'm glad I got out to clear my thoughts." - I talked out loud as I looked at how my breath turned in to smoke.

When I was little I pretended I was a dragon that spit fire. I always played like that in winter.

"I should've taken a better jacket." - I said as I shivered from the cold.

The temperature outside was definitely below zero so I decided I should head home.

I decided to use a shortcut instead of taking the long way home. And with that, I made the worst decision in my life.

I checked my phone to see that I had ten missed calls from my mom.

The shoes I wore were low quality and they would leak snow anytime soon. My feet were freezing already.

The only thing I could hear were my steps but somehow they were doubled.
