"Do you like this one or this one?"

Sabrina was holding one dress to herself then the other. One was a red cocktail dress with sparkles and the other was a one shoulder short dress with a wrapped look to it. I pointed to the light tan one shoulder dress and she smiled. She bought the dress and a pair of matching heels. Now, it was my turn. Sabrina found about fifteen different dresses that she thought I would like.

"Sabrina, I only like four of these."

She laughed.

"Well I didn't know your style but I'll have to learn."

She left the four dresses and put the others away. There was a red long dress, a navy blue cocktail dress, a black evening dress, and a white short dress. She had me try on each dress and show her. When I was done I had narrowed in done to one.

"I like the black high low evening dress."

The dress was made of black chiffon and was thigh high on the left and angled down to the right. It had ruffles on the skirt and a sweet heart top that was sleeveless. It had a hidden side zipper and the back was a stretch elastic material. She looked at me in the dress and agreed. She pulled me to the area in the back where the masquerade dresses were. I found a couple that I liked but none that I fell in love with. Sabrina searched as well and the silence grew painful.

"So, who is the cousin?"

She smiled.

"William? Just a really cute guy who has been through eighteen relationships and he has a dark secret that he tells only the people he trusts."

I looked at her and laughed. She described him like she was reading off a dating site she stumbled upon online. I looked at her and raised a eyebrow but she looked dead serious.

"I don't believe you."

She came over and turned on her phone. She clicked a few buttons and showed me a picture of what seemed to be a supermodel on the beach of the Bahamas. He had blonde hair that was soaked from swimming and was midway through running his hand through it. His blue eyes shone like lightning and his face should belong to a handsome sculpture. Perfectly angled nose, nice full lips, big eyes. Then my eyes drifted down to his shirtless body. Broad chest with a good build to him. Muscular arms and drool worthy six pack of abs.

"That's William. Eighteen relationships where every woman just wanted his money which he could swim in if he wanted to but that's not him. William hates being as rich as he is. Likes inexpensive stuff, kinda like you. I just realized how much you guys are alike."

I sighed.

"Sabrina, don't even think about playing match maker. I don't care if you want me to date but don't set me up with someone like him who will never find me attractive."

She looked at me and stopped what she was doing. She walked over and started to rummage in the dresses till she found a princess dress that was white with a elegant gold pattern on the front. She held it up by me and smiled.

"Perfect fit, now for your mask..."

"Hey, don't I get a say at what I'm wearing?"

"No,"

I sighed and followed her to the masks. She found the exact match and grabbed a pair of heels to go with it and even found a gold tiara to go with everything. I followed her to the check out counter where she quickly grabbed a outfit and paid a good sixteen grand for the four dresses and different accessories but she didn't complain. We left and she was silent.

"Sabrina, why aren't you talking to me?"

"Because you are the most beautiful woman here and you constantly tell yourself you aren't."

I sighed.

"I'm not beautiful."

"Point proven," she stopped and held up her phone camera that was facing me. "What do you see?"

I looked at my heart shaped face and fair skin. My big green eyes and smaller nose with full lips too. I looked like my real mother. My brown hair hung down my face in a wavy mess. How was I beautiful?

"I see myself."

She sighed.

"Well I see beautiful girl hiding behind self consciousness. Again, so much like William. Handsome but he doesn't know it."

I sighed and we walked back to the house talking about what we would do. A yacht was docked near the boats and Regis was talking to a taller blonde guy that was our age. Sabrina freaked and quickly told me to not stare at him or even pay much attention to him. Then she changed her mind.

"Just don't talk or look at him. I'll push you ahead of me so he knows we are in a hurry. Don't look!"

We walked by Regis and William nodded but we just walked by in a hurry. He stared after us and Sabrina giggled happily. She pushed me to her room upstairs and started to doll me up for dinner. Once we were in the first dress we ate dinner in a rush. People were all talking but Sabrina gave me strict orders not to pay attention to William at all. After supper she reported that he was looking over at me the whole time and was very distracted.

"Sabrina, Ow!"

She jumped back with the brush and swore.

"Sorry! Anyways you were saying."

We were back in her room getting ready for the masquerade dance. She was done with everything and was now working on me. Every mirror was taken down in her room so I couldn't tell what she had made me look like. I sighed and looked at the Princess dress which was a far too familiar thing for me to wear.

"What are you scheming that involves me not talking or looking at William? And why am I dressed as a princess?"

She smiled.

"William is not used to people not paying attention to him so that drew his attention to you. Now, if we are lucky, he will try to get your attention by asking for a dance. Which you are to say yes to!"

I smiled. I was a brilliant plan if you thought about it.

"And the Princess thing?"

"You'll find out if we are lucky and he tells you."

She smirked as she put the last pin in my hair and placed the tiara on. She did my makeup and placed my mask on. Everything was either white or gold in the outfit and it was very delicate and elegant looking. She giggled and walked me down the stairs. As we walked down people stared at us with jaws dropped. Even William did a double take at us before he slipped away from the group he was in.

Sabrina quickly steered me into the crowd and escaped William. We found Regis and he smiled at us both. He was in a white tux with black spiderweb across it.

"You both look beautiful tonight. Rosalie, if I'm not mistaken I think William has an interest in you tonight. Have you two met yet?"

I smiled.

"No, but I think your daughter has a plan already in play for that."

He laughed.

"Of course she does. I hope you two have fun."

He left with some of the other people who were heading your the ballroom. Sabrina showed me where to go and we stayed by each other's side the whole time. Music started to play and slowly pairs of people glided on the floor. Sabrina was talking when a cute guy came and asked her to dance. She was about to say no when I gave her to him and she glared at me. I watched them dance and pretty soon I was one of a few people not dancing. Then I spotted him.

William wasn't dancing but he seemed to be looking for someone. He was in all black and gold. His outfit was a black prince charming outfit with gold details. His mask was black with a small accent of gold. We were wearing the exact opposite of each other. Sabrina set me up. William had a gentle face. He scanned the crowd for someone but couldn't seem to find them. In the dark his eyes glowed like lanterns and- were looking right at me. He smiled and his whole body seemed to relax. He found what he was looking for. Me.
